Housed in a refurbished early 1900s building, Finnholmen Brygge is situated in the Lofoten fishing village of Henningsvær. It offers free Wi-Fi and simple rooms with harbour or Vest Fjord views.

Score from 156 reviews Excellent
comfortable, clean, quiet, comparatively large room with comfortable beds. Nice enough breakfast. Would stay here again.
no dark curtains, doesn't help sleep during midnight sun days. Not too many dinner-restaurant options in the area.
School as guesthouse during summertime, nice and clean. Good breakfast.
Basic rooms with several shared bathroom very close to each room, good breakfast
There are few dishes and cutlery in the shared kitchen
Air quality poor during the night because there is no motorized air conditioning. I woke up in the middle of the night. Also dirty floor and odd smell in the room :(
location is great apart from seagull noises
no TV in rooms
The curtains are bright. In a place that the sun "doesn't go to sleep" it is better to have dark curtains as we had in most of the hotels in Norway.
Small but clean room with wash basin. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
rgw great berakfast and nice rooms
the always occupied kitchen - so self cooking was impossible
Nice room, dining-room and lounge. Good toilets and bathroom. Nice sorroundings. Close to the center of the village.
The room was badly soundproof. Too much noice from the corridor was heard in the room which made it hard to go to sleep. Heavy doors banging all night. Computers not working very well.
We stayed for 6 days and made it our base in the Lofoten Islands. Friendly staff, very helpful, accommodation was like an apartment, semi-private sitting area very pleasant for eating with fridge etc, breakfast excellent. We enjoyed beautiful walking from the hostel into town (4 km) and the bus stopped very close taking us on longer trips.
There was nothing to dislike!!
+staff were all great +very very clean +great breakfast
-noise in next room - thin walls
Pretty much everything. Breakfast was excellent. eGrat place to stay if you are not looking for fancy hotels but rather a pleasant simple comfortable place to stay that's cheap - especially important in Norway which is super expensive
WiFi in the room was poor mostly didn't work. Had to wonder round the building looking for connection.
back to school years and campus atmosphere, coffee and tea available in the evening and a nice touch-freshly baked cake awaiting for tired travelers, unexpectedly good breakfast
excellent breakfast, helpful staff
poorly equipped room
Great location, very helpful staff on reception. Brilliant breakfast!
Could do with a few more pots and pans in the shared kitchen and facilities to dry clothes.
The reception personnel was very kind, also the breakfast was wonderful. The room and the facilities were great.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was awesome (especially the special treat of smoked salmon and cod fillets!) The Lofoten Islands are a must-see if visiting Norway!
Location was a bit off the beaten path. The rain and fog - know that's Mother Nature's fault and not the hostel's :)
environments around the hotel was very nice. calm and peaceful! helpful staffs.
soundproofing was bad. the kitchen was clean but there was not various cookware.
- small, comfortable Hostel just 5-10km outside Svolvaer (10min by bus) - friendly, nice staff, very helpful - clean rooms, nice view on the Harbour and the mountains, practical inventure - wounderful breakfast - kitchen with sufficient Equipment for use between 7-22.30, fridge - free WLAN - nice view on the landscape, lots of interesting and interested People doing activity-holidays with hiking, Walking, cycling, fishing -less touristical than Svolvaer, lots of norvegian People - good starting Point for cycling or hiking at the Lofoten - familiar, tiny place - really cheap for a Hotel/Hostel at the Lofoten and good Quality for the Money - single-rooms, double-rooms and Family rooms with private bathrooms as well as with shared bathrooms, bed in a dormitory for less money
- if you want to go to a distinct/Special/lonely part of the Islands it might be difficult to do it by bus, so for staying longer a car might be helpful, if you want to see more of the Lofoten - but that is of course NOT a fault of this Hostel!
Good value in this area Location Breakfast
Thin walls. You can hear almost everything from adjacent rooms and hall.
We much preferred the Kabelvåg location to Solvaer which is a quite new. Kabelvåg is a nice old fishing village.
We had to rent towels. Not a major problem but it should have been mentioned somewhere in the booking.com material. The locks on the bedroom doors are very loud made worse by the echoing from the hard surfaces in the hallways.
Breakfast was nice, common tv room was cosy.
Poor air ventilation in rooms, not quite enough cookware and utensils in the kitchen.
Breathtaking view through our room windows into little sea bay (with yachts, boats and ducks) and mountains partly in fog. Simple but comfortable room.
NO Wi-Fi connection in our room, no possiblity to repair it next day, no reception staff after 10 pm.
So nice people.
Old house smell badly.
A beautiful location in a quiet town. This summer hostel is a school dormitory in the wintertime. Facilities are basic but otherwise quite acceptable.
No soap was provided for the shower.
