The landscape and the hotel are both an unforgettable present. Situated in front of the Lustrafjorden, this is one of the best places (if not the best) to stop once you have driven all the way long the Sognefjellet road. Moreover, it is only 45 minutes by car of the Nigardsbreen, one of the most accessible glaciers of Norway.
The hotel is a nice dream: it's a complex of three small wooden Norwegian houses painted in white. The room was the cosiest we have ever seen: on top of the bed, it had two armchairs with two blue blankets, a small kitchen, a fully equipped bathroom, four windows and a small terrace. Moreover, there is free WiFi, everything is tidy and clean and one of the rules is to be silent after 23 h. The breakfast is tasty and complete and you can ask for a lunch pack for 40-45 NOK.
