The staff was quite nice and helpful. The location is in the city center, close to the main attractions. The room was clean enough. The facilities didn't meet my expectations, the heater was torn off the wall (it worked though), the shower head didn't work properly. The wasn't enough towels in the bathrooms and although the room was advertised as a three-person room, there was a single queen-size bed and a loveseat folded out as an extra bed.

The hotel was really nice. It was clean etc. Also breakfast was good and was included in total price. We loved the location of the hotel because it is located near all tourism objects. Great! Unfortunately the elevator was broken and we needed to go by feet to the 4th floor. Also no parking in the hotel`s teritory.

Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. For a nominal fee you can use the washer/drier to do your laundry -- definitely a plus! Breakfast food was fresh and good -- I actually savedo it for lunch most of the times. The lounge has a coffee/tea machine that you can use for free, a computer to check your e-mail and free WiFi Internet access is available as well. We did not have problems sleeping despite the bars downstairs, only a few groups of noisy people could be heard at night, but I guess that happens in every place that has a busy nightlife such as Bergen. On the other hand, the location is great -- downtown Bergen and two steps from everything. The room didn't have a cupboard where we could store our clothes, so we had to leave everything in the suitcase. Moreover, the shower drain wasn't placed properly so the whole bathroom floor would get flooded when taking a shower -- a shower wall would do a better job than a simple curtain. Luckily the bathroom floor could be heated for quicker drying! They provide breakfast but there is no place where one can sit and eat it -- a breakfast room with tables would definitely add comfort.

Is in the city centre...really good position and really helpful staff!!! Doesn't exist a place where to have a breakfast...they deliver to you a doggy-bag in front of the room's door, after, you have to go to the hall for a mug of cofee or tea...no milk at all. It's too expensive In relation to services offered. It's also a bit noisy.

Good location, close to the city center, fish market and train station. Two minutes walking to the bus stop to/from the airport. Close to many restaurants as well. Poor breakfast. Just orange juice, a sandwich and a fruit. But it is handy if you have a scheduled trip early in the morning.

Location is very central Breakfast is a joke. It consists of a box of juice (0,3 liters) and one sandwich, in a bag at your door in the morning. Tea and coffee is provided in the reception. The room was very hot. The hotel is located by a pub, which makes it very noisy during the night, specially in the weekends. If you are sensitive to noise, this hotel is a bad choice.

Only 15 minute walk to bus and train station. Karaoke party nearby kept me awake all night on a sunday, hotel staff not at all interested. Couldn't even hear the tv over the noise.

The hotel is in a nice location. Close to the downtown, fish market, marina (quise useful if you intend to take a tour of the fiords). Nice bars, snack bars, and restaurants at 1-2 minute walk. Room quite large. Breakfast is quite disappointing. Just a sandwich, orange juice, and a fruit hanged, in a bag, at the door handle of your room every morning. Quite boring after 1 day (and not that healthy as the sandwich has butter in it...but tasty!). There is no breakfast room, if you want coffe or tea you need to go downstairs in the hall to get it from a machine. No baggage room.

There's no things in hotel that we liked best. The hotel was just good in all its manifestations. I liked that there was free coffee machine. :) It was not very comfortable stairs (we lived on the 4th floor), and elevator went just on the 3rd floor. But it isn't very important limitations.

The location was great, the facilities fine, and the staff helpful. I booked two rooms, one for myself and one for my mother. Her room was considerably bigger and nicer, and it seemed odd that they could be priced the same. The breakfast-in-a-bag was a bit disappointing compared to others. Overall 'feel' and care about the details was not as good as the Comfort Hotel we stayed in in Oslo for considerably less money. But over all ok. Norway is just very expensive!

Very good location. Good value for money for Norway. Despite several reviews it was very quiet - maybe because it was winter or due to the location of the room they gave us. The room was very small and it's size is not specified in the description. And yes, breakfast isn't sufficient even if "door service" is one of the specific features of the hotel. Although the round-the-clock tea\coffee making facilities in the lobby is nice.

Internet is free and the wi-fi works well in the bedroom. We found breakfast rather odd. You get a paper bag hanging on your bedroom door which contains an orange juice, a sandwich and a tangerine. For coffee or tea you have to go down to a machine at reception. The bathroom has underfloor heating which we mistook for the central heating control and couldnt understand why the room was so cold.
