Hotel is located in town, nearby to most of Bergen attractions - Fish Market, Shopping Pedestrian Street, Mount Floyen - all by walking distance. Also near to the airport shuttle bus stop at Radisson Blu Bergen - easy to/fro airport. Packed breakfast is delivered to door/room - sandwich, fruit & bottled juice (no option)
The hotel rooms are split into 2 buildings. On 2nd day, loss the wifi signal in my room, thus need to go to the hotel lobby to access the internet, which is located in another building. It's troublesome because everyday it's raining in Bergen.
Had room with a little balcony, free tea and coffee, near everything. Supermarket across the street.
Am Coeliac and breakfast was only a sandwich with juice and an apple. In general Norway in very Coeliac friendly so it wouldn't have been too difficult to provide me with a gluten free one, and I did mention in when booking.:(
Good location. The staff were helpful and you could help yourself to tea or coffee all day
It was very noisy. There seemed to be a party outside both night well into the early hours of the morning. Breakfast was delivered in a bag..the sandwich was a bit stale
The location is great. There is a middle eastern deli right opposite where you can get pizzas and sawarma rolls. The airport bus stop is three minutes walk from the hotel. All the major attractions are a maximum of ten minutes walk. The hotel also has free wifi.
Location and cleanliness
I must say that one of the female staffs there was not friendly at all. When I asked her for an invoice from her, she was not happy and felt I was irritating. When I asked where to find the airport shuttle bus station she just drew a circle on the map, and the attitude was not quite acceptable since this is a hotel receptionist. In contrast to one of the male staffs she behaved so so poor. Indeed, I would like to give a good review to our stay at your hotel, but the attitude from this staff really made us very disappointed!!!
this hostel is a walking distance of everything.
Cold water shower...
The staff was super friendly and tried to help as much as they could. P-Hotels in Trondheim are better organized it seems, we had a good experience there (for that reason we choose P-Hotels again in Bergen).
1. We were promised we could store our bags in the hotel during a several day hike. Once we arrived, we were told there was nowhere to store our luggage. Fortunately the receptionist just didn't know and we have been able store our stuff in the end. 2. There is a pub located in the same building as the hotel and a club next door, and on booking.com it says: you may experience some noise, especially on weekends. We're living in Amsterdam and are used to city noises. Unfortunately, this was ridiculous. We have not been able to sleep at all the first night. The hotel was fully booked, so there was no possibility to move rooms. Happily the next day we were able to stay somewhere on the back site of the hotel. 3. We were told in advance there was an option for wheat and dairy free breakfast. We confirmed this at arrival, but our breakfast contained wheat and dairy only. The next day it worked out though.
Location. It is in the city center
Extremely small sized rooms Low quality
Facility is just enough.
Shower booth is separated only with curtain in some rooms.
first, the shower is not separated from the rest of the toilet, which means that when you take a bath, wall bathroom flor gets completely wet! second, the hotel its in a really nosing street with a lot of bars. Ok, this is not a problem if the windows don't let the noises go inside the room, but that didn't happened. They have a night club under the rooms, so we couldn't sleep until 3h30 in the morning. third, they say they have breakfast, but they give you a industrialized sandwich, a terrible industrialized apple juice and a strange pear. So the experience was terrible! don't stay there!
loft room with sloping ceiling left little room for heads
Staffs are good. Self-service check-in and check-out machine is easy to use.
The elevator was out of order. It is a sport bar down stairs, quite noisy.
there is no elevator to 4th Floor no housekeeping on one day
Location was great - convenient walk everywhere. Staff was helpful. Sports bar right next door, which suited us just fine! For the relative price, would consider returning.
Rooms are perhaps a little dated but not majorly. Breakfast could be improved. We got a sandwich bag, which was nice for the go, but would have preferred a sit-down option too.
I asked the staff how comes there are no cups in the room. And the woman said she didn't know because she was not in my room. What a service!
No possible way to sleep with the noise levels of that area, and the hotel must know this, because there are no phones in the rooms to ask anything of the front desk at all. You must physically go to the desk for anything, and you'll wait a long time before anyone comes. The shower water is either so hot it will scald you, or so cold you will freeze, no in between. So if you want the basics of actually sleeping, and getting a shower, you won't find it here. Save your money and sleep on a street corner.
Hotel location in quiet area of city center. Clean room.
Breakfast hung on the doorhandle. Room heater was not working.
We had a 4 bed family room which was comfortable, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the location in terms of being able to walk from Railway Station and walk around town. The staff were helpful and pleasant and free tea and coffee was appreciated.
The location is between 3 pubs and the dance party music continued until 2:30am on a Thursday night. I would avoid in the week-end unless joining in the party!
Brekfast Tv chanels And the noise from outside
Location is pretty central - walking distance to everything - but then that is probably true for almost anywhere within Bergen city. One of the staff was polite and helpful. Free coffee and tea in the lobby - if that really matters.
Above a noisy bar that goes on till 0200 giving you little chance to sleep, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast was an unvarying sandwich, pear and juice hung in a paper bag outside the door. Bathroom was tiny - actually had to sit at a slight angle on the toilet pot as it was too close to the wall! Bed was horribly soft, dragged the matteress down and slept on the floor.
The attitude of stuff is terrible. We were so disappointed. Her name is Julie who would not tell how to go to attractions and looked like we own her money!! There are no hot water at night at all
Short 2 towels, 2 holes in ceiling tiles, reading light not working, Not as nice overall as the P-Hotel Trondheim and more expensive.
Location was great.
Breakfast consisted of a sandwich, juice and fruit hung on the door handle at about 6 am.
The breakfast is a bag hanged on the door with a sandwich and an apple juice. The check in starts at 4 pm. Very noise place. No option to cancel reservation.
There were tea and coffee available all day. It is very well located, near the port and in the centre of the city.
The breakfast was quite poor. There are a pub downstairs the hostel very popular and the hostel street was noise until very late in the night.
