Very good,

“ Really great breakfasts in the morning - lots of choice and really good quality. Great location in the centre of town. All of Norway is expensive, so it wasn't cheap, but it was one of the better priced hotels in Tromso. They put on free waffles in the afternoon too, which is a lovely touch! ”

Clean and tidy The TV screen was facing away from the bed. The staff was unfriendly when I arrived because I had not understood that I needed to tell them in advance that I was bringing a little dog. I told her I thought that it was enough to say it when checking in and pay then. Not a good first impression.

Friendliness of staff - particularly Marius at reception. Ease of check-in. Waffles in the afternoon were great but please make milk available to make tea. The twin beds shifted apart too easily, room beverage tray not restocked (only one milk carton in it for the whole of our 3 night stay).

Beds were comfortable, so good night's sleep. Decor up-to -date. Delicious breakfasts and afternoon waffles. Eating area was stylish but not intimidating! Staff very helpful. Car able to be parked on site. Hotel right in centre of Tromso yet generally very quiet. Evening meals available for some of nights. Bedrooms and shower room on the small side, with limited storage space, made it more difficult (although not impossible) to manage all outdoor gear brought for Arctic conditions. Felt rather squashed as a result. Would have also liked evening meal to be available each night.

Great location in centre of town, bus stop for airport only about 50m away. Comfy room with mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, iron and ironing board. Breakfast buffet very substantial. Lunch and evening buffet meals available at very reasonable cost. Free fresh waffles, jam and cream available to guests throughout the day! Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again here!

Location was perfect, right in the middle of the city we asked for a room with a double bed, but got twin beds which were pushed together and kept separating all night. with single quilts this made sleeping at night less comfortable Tromso is extortionatley expensive

The location of this hotel is excellent, right beside the tourism office and within a stone throw of the main street. Our room was in the older part of the building with a view looking over the old church. I was surprised to find that the old room was big and comfortable, did not feel too dated. A good spread at breakfast and free waffles from 3-5 made our stay in Tromso a bit more financially comfortable. Our room was big but somewhat strangely laid out (a dining room table with 6 chairs??). We left a sign out for our room to be cleaned and when we came back it was hard to tell that someone had been in there at all, the duvets were re-arranged and the cups replaced but that was all.

Good breakfast with local delicacies. Wooden floors are probably easy to clean in pet-friendly rooms, but they are slippery and noisy under dogs' paws. Some softer material would be nicer. Double beds should have double mattresses or at least beds that stay together. Now there is a "valley" between the two beds. Beds that do not stay together make no venue for any romatic encounters...

Its location was excellent, just in the downtown of Tromso. The hotel staff did not seem to us to be well trained at all; sometimes rather rough and sometimes unclear nor inaccurate in their explanations of town etc.

Very nice, clean and peacful, the staff were all friendly and most helpful.

Pluss for gratis vaffelsteking.
