Free wifi. Helpful and friendly staff. Swimmingpool open in the morning with ready sauna.
Old tv in the room
Good position, clown to ski areal and Maihaugen.
Shows some signs of age. Must have been quite something in the old days before its "modernising" from the 80's
I enjoyed everything there.
The toilet was a little murky, I didn't mind that but my friend who came to visit pointed it out
- nice place - close to city center - nice hotel bar and breakfast
- old hotel far from Radisson standard.
The first night we got at rum without ability to heath. The problem was not unknown for the staff and it had been a better service to let us know. Next day we without problem got a new room, but the first night and morning was cold!
A whole lot. Well appointed hotel, well located for the town and its attractions. Very good value for money. We enjoyed our stay
Minor issues. Could not work out how the mini-bar fridge worked. Showers close to the gym would be good. Smokers should not be allowed to use the area in front of the entrance - horrible to arrive into and depart. Exterior design of building is poor amid the traditional architecture of this part of Lillehammer - prominent and a blot!
Carpet Floors dirty and worn. Whole place past its prime from the 80's or 90's . I was surprised that this facility carries a radison logo. And I have stayed in may Radisons .
Everything except location.
There is no easy way to find the Radisson Blu, especially when the main road to the hotel, Bankgata, was partially closed for construction. But that is also an advantage since the area is extremely quiet.
in lovely setting, enjoyed playing crazy golf salt and pepper restaurant expensive but very good good breakfasts
despite requesting a double room advised not available at check in, but told we were free to push the beds together
the breakfast, the plush interior the surrounding countryside.
initial mix up over booking and extra bed in room which took 2 days to sort out.Food and drink ridiculously expensive but that's probably not the hotel's fault cos all of Norway is like this
Wi fi in bed room poor
The TV was old and not good.
She's a faded lady;. Apparently built for 1994 Olympics (a guess) and not recently refurbished.
Sad to say the buffet was not good.
On a beautiful summer day, Radisson would not let it's guests sit our on the balcony to eat breakfast. They has a hard time policing this, so consequently guests felt picked on and unfairly treated if they were told to eat inside. Radisson, it's not that hard to get your staff to bus the tables outside. The sun is not out all that long during the year in Norway; let us enjoy breakfast outside while we can. That little "rule" you haphazardly made on a moment's notice did nothing but irritate your guests. Pay attention to your guests' feelings.
Huge hotel with 2 swimming pools. Nice staff.
Far from city center. Mostly groups from organized travel trips are staying in that hotel...
Thr location close to the jump tower and the open air museum is good. The park surrounding the hotel is lovely. The rooms are rather old but bed is comfortable.
It is definitely not radisson niveau. Stayed in lots of radissons in the past. This one needs a huge makeover to be allowed to bear this name in the future. Breakfast atmosphere is poor. Breakfast is ok but not radission like. In radisson you normally get freshly squeezed orange juice - just one example... the indoor spa facilities apprear quite dirty. Guess its only the look since their really old. But does not make it very inviting.
Hotel had lots of good facilities and was very child friendly. The buffet for dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room we had was a little basic with a very old TV which was a little surprising for the standard of the hotel but this did not worry us as we were not there to watch TV. Very close to the Lillehammer Olympic Village and Museum and are well worth a visit.
The Wifi in our room did not work. We had to go down to reception area or outside to get a connection even though reception assured us that it should work. May depend on the room you have and how far you are from reception. We seemed to be out in one of the wings.
The room was nice, with a french balcony which let in nice air during the evening and night. The hotel bar was nice although the assortment of quality beer was lacking.
The hotel felt a bit worn down and in need of some refreshing. The room had a CRT TV, which I didn't even think existed in hotels in western Europe anymore. The bed was perhaps a bit narrow. The Wifi did not have good coverage in the room.
Access to the 6th floor by stair (no lift between 5 and 6th floor Very old design , must be renovated, asap 15mn queue for check out
This could have been a wonderful hotel. The public rooms were once very good. The gardens very nice. the parking excellent. Buffet meal and breakfast was good.
Our room was so far away from the reception that it was almost in the next town. It was cramped and not well ventilated. the hotel is plagued by groups. The public rooms were dirty and the seats in the restaurant even worse. We were disappointed as the two other RB Hotels we had stayed in had been so good.
We upgraded at no extra cost. Staff were lovely and the restaurant was great with a very well informed waiter
is a stunning hotel
was surprised they charge for coffee in the lobby
