The surroundings looked very nice, large garden. Breakfast was good, but quite borring if you stay more than 2-3 days. Plenty of parking lots.
Room was dated and small, though clean, 4 stars is too much. Hygiene regulations by the sauna can be more strict. Nobody wore a towel there, all meat on the wood.
Old, furniture covered in dust, poor quality breakfast.

Free wifi pool helpful staff
Location long uphill walk to hotel a little precarious at times due to icy road/footpath and vice versa !
- Very nice service Personal seemed always service orientated. - Clean, comfortable and a bit traditional arranged hotel. - Central and close to the ski tracks Recommendable without any doubts
Restaurant prices are...norwegian. Means a bottle of wine you can buy in Germany for 6 EUR you pay here almost 60.
I love the interior of the hotel, it's so old fashion. It reminds me settings I'm an old 50s movie. Rooms are specious. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it's a good selection of contenental and Scandinavian food. We love the indoor poor and sauna. Hotel is about 10 mins walk from Lillehamer city centre, but for people who drives its perfect. Spacious parking lot offer free parking for hotel guests.
TV is small and old.
Restaraunt was good with hot food which made a change from luke warm food. The bar had a large selection of beers. Reception Staff very helpful.
Very Basic room considering the price of it. To few electrical points in the room I had. No kettle for tea or coffee.
-Breakfast was good- a lot of choice and we were offered takeway breakfast on our departure day as was before breakfast sitting. -Entrance/lobby area was nice and welcoming.
-Bedrooms really basic. We had a double which was a little better than the 2 singles the rest of our party had. Would have thought they would have a bath...the singles didn't have kettles and tea/coffee facilities which are pretty standard. For a massive hotel the rooms just felt really small and pokey. -Main reason I booked this hotel above the others in the town was that it had a pool/sauna etc which was important to us as we were skiing and especially so as the rooms has no baths. Again, the pool room felt old and tired and more importantly the pool was really cold!! No jacuzzi and the saunas were separated into male & female rooms off of the changing rooms which was a bit odd and neither were particularly hot. - The location is a bit of a pain as a long way uphill from the main street but we were aware of this beforehand and wouldn't have been an issue if the other areas were more satisfactory.
Fantastic breakfast Great view of ski hill Friendly staff
Rooms need updating
Free wifi. Helpful and friendly staff. Swimmingpool open in the morning with ready sauna.
Old tv in the room
Good position, clown to ski areal and Maihaugen.
Shows some signs of age. Must have been quite something in the old days before its "modernising" from the 80's
I enjoyed everything there.
The toilet was a little murky, I didn't mind that but my friend who came to visit pointed it out
- nice place - close to city center - nice hotel bar and breakfast
- old hotel far from Radisson standard.
The first night we got at rum without ability to heath. The problem was not unknown for the staff and it had been a better service to let us know. Next day we without problem got a new room, but the first night and morning was cold!
A whole lot. Well appointed hotel, well located for the town and its attractions. Very good value for money. We enjoyed our stay
Minor issues. Could not work out how the mini-bar fridge worked. Showers close to the gym would be good. Smokers should not be allowed to use the area in front of the entrance - horrible to arrive into and depart. Exterior design of building is poor amid the traditional architecture of this part of Lillehammer - prominent and a blot!
Carpet Floors dirty and worn. Whole place past its prime from the 80's or 90's . I was surprised that this facility carries a radison logo. And I have stayed in may Radisons .
Everything except location.
There is no easy way to find the Radisson Blu, especially when the main road to the hotel, Bankgata, was partially closed for construction. But that is also an advantage since the area is extremely quiet.
in lovely setting, enjoyed playing crazy golf salt and pepper restaurant expensive but very good good breakfasts
despite requesting a double room advised not available at check in, but told we were free to push the beds together
the breakfast, the plush interior the surrounding countryside.
initial mix up over booking and extra bed in room which took 2 days to sort out.Food and drink ridiculously expensive but that's probably not the hotel's fault cos all of Norway is like this
Wi fi in bed room poor
The TV was old and not good.
She's a faded lady;. Apparently built for 1994 Olympics (a guess) and not recently refurbished.
Sad to say the buffet was not good.
On a beautiful summer day, Radisson would not let it's guests sit our on the balcony to eat breakfast. They has a hard time policing this, so consequently guests felt picked on and unfairly treated if they were told to eat inside. Radisson, it's not that hard to get your staff to bus the tables outside. The sun is not out all that long during the year in Norway; let us enjoy breakfast outside while we can. That little "rule" you haphazardly made on a moment's notice did nothing but irritate your guests. Pay attention to your guests' feelings.
Huge hotel with 2 swimming pools. Nice staff.
Far from city center. Mostly groups from organized travel trips are staying in that hotel...
