I stay at this hotel frequently. It has a great location for Central Station, good views, and a nice sky bar. The irish bar offers standard fare food.

The skytop resteraunt is over-priced for the selection. It aspires to be a botique dining experience, but has too little selection to make it worth the visit. Standard meals, such as Steak or pasta, would make a welcome addition. Similarly, the breakfast is too croweded and not enough help from staff.

It was in the centre of all the shops and popular tourist sights such as the Opera House and Royal Palace. Next to the train station so it was easy to find The views were incredible, worth bringin swim wear to swim on the 34th floor looking out onto the whole of Oslo. Breakfast had lots of choice and was nice Rooms were spacious and clean

I have seen better Radisson but in Norway there are no international hotels chains anyway. Very limited choice of English or international channels (only 2 BBC news and CNN news!!!!)which is a shame if you stay there for business. Bathrooms are clean but they need redecoration (ridiculous and very old hairdryer; the staff kindly offered me to switch rooms and I did but the hair dryers were all the same. In other Radisson hotels they have normal one in the wardrobe other that the one attached to the wall) Breakfast not like other Radisson I have been. (very limited choices of croissants and pastries) Entrance to the Gym is quite dodgy and they have only 2 treadmills.

The breakfast buffet is, as always, the best. The pool has the best view.

The breakfast buffet closed a bit early for a Sunday... It should be open a bit later.

Location - a short walk to Oslo Centre Train Station and nearby by shopping streets. Great Buffet Breakfast too! Free WiFi (although a bit too slow for business hotel - better if there is LAN connection)

We were on our honeymoon and upgraded to a business room. It was fantastic! Excellent breakfast, great gym, great room, comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely view!

Decor and atmosphere and room comfort

There was a problem with the booking. You told me that the hotel could not use my credit card and asked me to re-send the details, which I did. But when I arrived just before midnight (as I already told them I would), they told me that the booking had been cancelled. Luckily, there was still a room available and the receptionist was most obliging. So, somewhere there was a communication failure.

I liked everything except for it was very cold in the room and available AC did not help to keep the room warm.

See above - very cold temperature in the room. Now we are staying at Radisson Blu Resort in Trysil and the temperature in the room is at least 10C warmer, without any special efforts, including extra heating, etc.

The family room is not ready, I still have to call the housekeeping to prepare the pullout bed for my kids.

Maybe this is a general thing with hotels - can't understand why our room had two single beds if we asked for a double. We had to push the beds together and had an annoying gap in the middle every so often

The staff is the perfect example of the Scandinavian hospitality, the wiev from our room at the 29th floor was just amazing, the room was clean and very cosy, at breakfast there is a good choice of Scandinavian, continental and English dishes and the location of the hotel is just perfect!

The bar at the 34th floor was designed for much less customers than it should have been. Thus it is quite hard to find a space to seat during weekend evenings. That is really the only thing that went bad during our stay!

Hmmm can't think of anything sadly...

If this is really a 5 stars hotel then how come that all the standard queen apartments we've changed were all dirty... The furniture was worn out... The HVAC was pouring dust into the room... we forget it running over the night and the next mourning everything (clothes, electronics, etc) had a layer of dust on it. Extremely disappointing.
