Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Oslo

Vriendelijk personeel aan de balie, duidelijke informatie, goed georganiseerd ontbijt, perfecte ligging vlakbij Centraal Station en commerciëel centrum, geen storing van geluid op kamer

Lange wachttijden bij de lift

Uitstekende ligging, net aan het busstation. 50 minuten na de landing van onze Ryanair vlucht waren wij al ingechecked. Het hotel heeft ook een bagagedienst die je koffers bewaart tot je de bus naar de luchthaven kan nemen. Oslo is de moeite. We hebben één dag de oslo bike gehuurd (systeem zoals in Parijs) voor 10 euro en dat viel reuze mee. Toppers zijn het Oslo fjord per fiets, het operagebouw en het Vigeland park. In de omtrek van het hotel vindt je ook een supermarkt en enkele goedkope eettenten Subway, +-15 euro pp

Je kan altijd iets vinden maar we mogen niet klagen. We vroegen op het voorhand een kamer op één hoger verdiep en kregen deze. Tof waren de zeteltjes voor het venster. Ideaal om op te warmen met een flesje wijn en het uitzicht op Oslo fjord.

Flexibiliteit met uitchecken.

Restaurant in de top was niet sfeervol en het eten was onder maat.

De medewerkers spraken behoorlijk Engels en het gehele hotel was internationaal georientereerd.

I enjoyed the pool and sauna with the fantastic view. Also the bar on 34th floor was great.

The room was not cleaned properly before I arrived. Old sweets were all over the floor behind the chairs and somebody had forgotten a top in the closet which wasn't cleaned out.A shame - I would have liked to stay there again due to location and pool.

Very good location /close to main central station and shopping areas. Breakfast buffet is excellent

the quality of the hotel is not adequate to price, very small sauna, swimming pool and gym, but on the other hand they are situated on the top of the hotel so the view is beautiful; the breakfast could be also richer

sauna is a good thing as it can get really cold in Oslo. Close to Opera, Train Station. The beds were Ok. Breakfest ok.

Money is still reserved on your credit card - even after the payment has gone through.

Breakfast room very busy. Not possible to buy food after 23 hours in the evening.

There are other Radisson hotels in Oslo, but this is the one right next to Central Station, with connections everywhere, so incredibly convenient. The main street starts at a stone's throw from the hotel and all the shopping is right there. The building is a stylish, glass skyscraper, it is the first building that will call your attention in central Oslo, just fabulous. The hall is also quite luxurious and the room wasn't as big as we would expect, neithee was the bathroom, but the decoration and layour were very original, with the bed in the middle like an island and the desk right opposite the bed frame, on the other side. The view from the upper floors is excellent. It's designed for business travellers.

The service was really disappointing. Not attentive at all. They did their work with no incidences, but never spent more than 2 min with us (check-in, check-out) or showed much empathy. Professional but sharp. I saw some staff having a more positive attitude to other (older) clients, so maybe the fact we booked through Booking.com at a lower rate than their standard or the fact we are young-ish erased that smile in their face that you would expect for the sake of customer service at this level. However, let me say, what we payed was fair, but more than that no, because the building might be wonderful but the services and amenities in the room felt like a 3-star hotel, no more than that.

near by the beach

really faaaar from the city centre! took half an hour from the city centre by bus! we decided to stay here only for 1 night instead of 2 nights planned. it's an old radsisson hotel and not much facilities available here.
