Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bergen    

Everything was fantastic! I will definitely return to this hotel!!!

Only down point was the inability to provide fresh milk for my hospitality tray....reception said they 'would try the kitchen' but I didn't hear any more about it. Very minor hiccup though.

The location is fantastic. Right in the middle of the old town and at the harbour. They serve excellent breakfast too.

The service was OK. The rooms were very small and the price was too high.

Great breakfast with many selection and good quality. located just near harbor. Comfortable and clean room (I was upgraded to business room).

30mins walk from station with no bus from hotel to main station. Narrow spa area.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was great. Bed was really comfortable.

car park is not good at all. plus there were no spaces. Room.... I'm English, so I do not like hard loud wooden laminate flooring. I understand this is a cultural thing. The decor in the room is very modern too bright colours, like back in the late sixties and seventies. will need changing within 6 years as it follows current fashion too closely. The room appears cold and hard. Not cosy at all. A lot of money has been spent on the refurb. The corridor wall colours are too dark with too little reflectance value. The corridors appear too dark, the door colours are too bold. It reminded me of an an eastern european medical research institution having been converted to a hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels arond the world. I can see what the designers are trying to achieve. I think they got it wrong. The bar shuts at 12.30am and does not serve guinness !!! Tragedy. Plus the attitude of the bar manager needs addressing with customers and fellow staff. Apologise to customers for closing and do not walk to the ridicule the reception staff in front of customers !! I own my own compnaies with a lot of staff, so I always look at how things are running. Apologies.....but you did ask for my feedback !!!

Good location, and Turkish sauna. Good breakfast. Clean rooms.

Man who checked us in was not friendly at all. Very abrupt - said only 3 words to us. 'Name!'... 'Credit Card!'... And when handing us our key...'Second floor!' FYI: This man was on the reception desk approx 4pm on Friday 10 May. Apart from this guy... everyone else was friendly and helpful.

Goog hotel for good price. Very good breakfast

This was a great hotel, reminded me of a quality American hotel with large rooms, restaurants, and fitness facilities. The location was perfect for sightseeing in Bergen. We arrived at the train station after our Norway in a Nutshell tour and walked approx. 10 minutes to the hotel. It's right next to the picturesque Byrggen area and the flybussen bus stops right at the hotel to bring you to the airport. Breakfast was fantastic and included in the rate.

Nothing. This place was great. Unless you count the high price, but we feel we got a good deal for this great spot.

poor wifi connectivity. called reception 3 times but they could not fix it no business center I could work in breakfast: overcrowded, slow to fill dishes and coffee urns,tea water ,milk. Waiters seemed harassed: no smiles

Staff at check in provided no advice whatsoever, even had to ask where the lifts were. Unfriendly and business like male assistant checked me in. Very poor initial impression.

The hotel is very well situated in the heart of Bergen. After total renovation its surely one of the best hotels in town. Underground is parking house with direct access to the reception. Internet is complimentary. Breakfast is excellent.

The connection with the underground parking facility is poor and not marked properly.

Hotel is located at one end of Bryggen, so right in the centre (everything you need to see in Bergen is then within walking distance). Room was ok, clean and big enough (up to standard expectation at Radisson). Breakfast was amazing - great choice of food to help yourself from whether you fancy a continental or English or Norwegian breakfast.

Personnel was very "cold" and distant, not making great efforts or showing you they are happy to welcome you at their hotel. Can definitely be improved. Not a big deal though for a 1-night stay.

We had order one extra bed,we find in the bed one condom and bed lining was dirty. Speak to to the women that cleaning, and she change on the bed and removed the condom(the condom was not used)

Norway people (they are very helpful,always smile), food, transport convience,panorama views. Hotel location and breakfast very good.Airport shuttle bus waiting at hotel outside every 15 minutes( adult 100krn).

I liked the buffet breakfast and being able to stay in the room for an extra hour after the original check out time.

Reception area was always quiet and had to loiter before someone appeared.

As it was Easter (I thought it was a good week away) hardly any staff around and none answering telephones. Very bad service from a hotel such as this, excuses and no help.
