How about a queen size bed?
The location is very good just a few minutes walk to the harbour; stylishly renovated; excellent breakfast; many facilities; helpful staff; good free wifi
Room was beautiful and spotless, breakfast delicious, modern hotel but with character and I don't think I can go back to budget hotels anymore.
Great room decor. Professional and friendly staff. Good breakfast selection.
Swimming pool was closed on Sunday. Only jacuzzi available. Parking garage was hard to manouver around - very steep access, very little space to park.
If you have big luggage or heavy things to move with you, will suggest you choose the other Radisson in Stavanger, much more easier to the stations and no need for "climbing"!
The renovation of the hotel is nicely done. Excellent service. Nice rooms. Excellent food. Very good value for money. To be recommended.
rooms are well equipped
Hotel was being renovated breakfast is very Basic (toast, flakes and milk) rooms give to the inside where the Elevator is constantly passing
- Value for money compared to rest of Norway - We got up late being jet-lagged and missed the breakfast but one of the waiters was kind enough to bring each of us a tray full of food and drinks - bed size was excellent - centrally located in the city - waived the parking fee because they were renovating
- if you arrive with your car late in the evening, you don't get spots in the underground parking - receptionist was unattentive and let 2 other people butt in front of me - ridiculous prices at the hotel restaurant, $27USD for a Ceasar salad
I paid more than 200 pounds per night but had really aweful memory , the first night we can't take shower because the bathtub could't release water ! And i asked a twin beds room , the result is even though i complained to the reception but nothing changed !!!
Everything will be better after refitting. But there are very friendly and nice people, and nice breakfast.
The staff were attentive and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location is an easy 10 minute walk to the city centre. Breakfast was plentiful with a large variety of hot and cold options and the staff were fine with us packing our lunches for our hike to Pulpit Rock.
The hotel is under renovations so when you step out of the lifts there were dangling wires and the hallways were hazardous to get to your room. I think the hotel should have either informed us of construction works or at least have offered a better price for our stay for the inconvenience.
Management were lovely
You live in the middle of construction dust and hazards.
Location, rooms and dining excellent.
In the middle of refurbishment in public areas so only gave good. When complete it will be excellent.
rooms are recently renovated and stylish
Hotel is under construction, this was not indicated when booking Breakfast is even for scandinavian standards very basic Windows give to the inside hall
Very nice rooms.
Breakfast room was improvised due to renovation and not very nice. A family was for some reason sleeping in the lounge in the pool area after it opened in the morning, and towels/shower soap was not provided. Sauna was cold. This is due to sloppy management not to the renovation. Hotel should have informed about the renovation prior to booking.
Nice quiet and large room, breakfast good, comfortable beds.
my credit card bill showed a double booking- lots of work with calls to norway and so on. Annoying.
Solid breakfast (excepted for the 'large variety' of gluten-free bread which was actually only one wasa bread).
hotel under construction : no lobby, workers in the floors drilling and renovating all the floors around the room. No possibility to rest during the day. Went to the sauna: off. Reception has to be called to lauch it..but no phone. Need 20 min to get warmed and no towel. Want to try the swimming pool : the colour of water didn't seem that clear. Impossible to change the temperature in the room. Also no towel. Really upset to have paid that price for an hotel currently in renovation.
Nicely renovated rooms
The hotel is been renovated lots of working process. Not for that price
The location. The room itself looked brand new. Good illumination in the bathroom. They forgot to remove the nespresso machine from our room so we could enjoy two cups of coffee
The hotels is being renovated so construction works being done while guests are going around in and out, Ladies at the reception looked ridiculous attending a small desk while worker on a ladder was removing/installing ceiling panels over their and the guests heads. Maybe guests should be equipped with helmets and safety shoes while staying at the hotel. We complained about it when checking out explaining that if we had known about this construction, we would have booked somewhere else. The reception lady apolpgozed and and told us that will refund us our prepaid reservation. I left my e-mail.to be contacted and credit card for refund, but did not see anything back from them. I do not understand why managers make such unwise decision such as keeping a first class hotel open for business in middle of a construction work. We are very much disappointed. Another detail - the safe in the room is installed with door opening upwards and it is so small that I couldn't put my 14" laptop inside it. Who needs such a small safe?
This I like at hotel factory many tourist busses a lot a guest to small breakfast . And no AIRCON in the rooms. The business class room only have a 1,5 person bed (140 cm bed ) to small for 2 adoults
Great location. Substantial breakfast with lots of choices even catering for gluten free. There was a brief power outage while we were there which affected all the televisions in the rooms so there were no channels available. They allowed us to watch pay TV free of charge instead.
Lots of renovations happening which we didn't know about. Not being able to alter temperature in room. No light blanket or alternative to the warm duvet on bed.
Very friendly staff and great positioning!
Parking was a little awkward - very small amount of space.
