Convenient location for business purposes

The car park has been outsourced - at NOK 350.00 per day, the price is exhorbitent needing a car for business around Oslo will drive me to look for an alternative with free parking if that exists. It spoils an otherwise very good hotel that I have stayed at for many years of doing business in Norway. The car park was close to empty - speaks volumes.

Very good hotel, with all features neccessary. The internet connection of the hotel didn't work. But the heotel has provided for me the alternatrive connection free of charge - that is called a proper problem solving.

Very good and generous breakfast buffet with variety oh choice, efficient service, location quite central and all other locations easily reachable from hotel with public transportation

The spa/fitness/pool were closed for repair for a couple of days: disappointing and the sport center in itself small: the swimming pool too small for real swimming: all in all the sport facilities were disappointing

Too crowdy, rooms are old and you can hear everything that's going around you during day and night.

Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. To warm at night in rooms. Ventilation very slow.

Heating not working in our room, got a electric heater on the second day. No extractor fan in bathroom.

Good price and value, 21st floor bar has a good view of the new year fireworks but is busy and expensive £10 per bottle of beer almost everywhere in Oslo

Room was not cleaned during our 3 day stay . staff lack friendly personality

Despite the quality of the hotel we were exceptionally disappointed with the service we received. The spa facilities were unavailable during the time of our stay and this was not communicated to us before our arrival. If we had have been informed we would have, most likely, cancelled our booking and booked elsewhere. We enquired about a discount but this was not possible. In my opinion if the services are not available then there should have been a discount given. We were told that we could use the Plaza hotel facilities but this was not an acceptable alternative. We had also booked two twin rooms and upon arrival at 12pm, before checking in time, we were given one double room to use and were assure that when checking in after 3pm that we would be given the two twin rooms we had booked. However, on returning to the hotel at 6pm there was an issue with the releasing the rooms to us and after a somewhat lengthy process we were finally given two business class rooms which we could have been given earlier in the day. The staff only gave us these rooms after we had explained in very clear terms that we were less than satisfied with the service offered.

Modern room and marvellous breakfast. The room was clean and the room staff friendly and efficient. The leisure facilities are great and just a step outside the hotel are to be found the main sights of the city an shops, all within easy walking distance. The trams are right outside so that accessing further parts of the town is easy plus busses and trains go from the nearby Nationaltheater bus stop/station. I always stay here when in Oslo.Wonderful for family stays as there is a pool and the children love the breakfast with all the buffet choice.

Be careful not to get one of the older rooms that have not been upgraded.
