Breakfast was amazing
Room service food wasn't great and the pillows were not very comfortable
Staff Top floor bar Breakfast
Restaurant to small
Airport to hotel door shuttle bus was great. Breakfast was excellent. Location very central with harbour in easy walking distance.
Location is good, hotel is clean, large selection for buffet breakfast
The room was tiny. I requested a double bed and got two singles. I had the "do not disturb" sign up but 3 times someone knocked on the door. Staff at reception were cold. No standard formalities such as enjoy your trip or did you enjoy your trip on check out. The receptionist, Maja, was a trainee and should be given guidance on this. I asked for discount on airport bus as mentioned in brochure but driver said there is no discount. When I told the receptionist she was disinterested. All in all, not value for money, wouldn't recommend.
I thought I had booked the Radison by the train station- but it ended up being elsewhere- needed to catch the metro then walk in the snow with luggage. I will be more careful next time. Staff helpful.
Relaxed and good athmosphare Excellent breakfast Equipment fitness-room ok Nice room, good isolation
The breakfast buffet was great and the later closing time was appreciated after a night out for New Year's Eve the previous night.
We had stayed at two other Radisson hotels in Norway on the same trip and were disappointed to see that this was the only one that did not provide hot drink facilities. The bed was two beds pushed together, or at least, there were two mattresses, rather than one as we had expected.
Bad quality Of Breakfast. !
My card was charged twice by the hotel. The amount they blocked for the second time is still blocked on my account.
- We really liked being upgraded to Business Class for free when we arrived! A very nice way to start off our weekend!! - The beds were really comfortable, shower was nice, warm and easy to use, and the dressing gown and slippers is a nice touch as well. The Coffee machine in the room was amazing, and choice of TV channels, films and music was very good. (Welcome music when you first enter the room is a nice way to enter). And the view was amazing being put on the 16th floor. The room was quite a nice size, space to move about and feel comfortable. - We also loved the views from the SkyBar, and the drinks were very good in here. Even the toilets have a good view and we liked the option to be able to put the drinks on the room. - The free Breakfast was also very nice. A complete full range of pretty much everything anyone would have for breakfast, something for everyone. And the chef cooking the fresh omelettes, to how you like them and being able to watch him cook them is a really nice touch. There's cold food, finger food, sandwich food, fresh breads and jams/sauces, fresh drinks, tea and coffee, salad bar, cheese counter and meats and fish counters, yogurts and desserts as well as the full range of cooked breakfasts such as bacon/eggs/sausage/beans/mushrooms etc. A nice way to start the day. - The location was also super handy, we could see where we wanted to go from our room and then just walk there, even if it was a 15 minute walk all the way to the docks, or a 2 minute walk to the nearest bars/clubs/restaurants near the national theater or the palace. We chose this hotel for its location and it really worked for us being so close to everything as we had planned to walk everywhere during our stay. Although, there are very good connections to the trains & buses just a 2 minute walk away and taxis should you need them.
Its close enough to everywhere, good location
Not 24 hour room service. Had to ring reception to make sure room was cleaned. Bar shut early
They provided me with an excellent view out towards the harbour that I requested. Hotel staff were very polite.
Great location Very friendly staff
Location Has shuttle service from airport Good breakfast spread
Room size and quality was poor
I stayed during the xmas period. The staff were brilliant. Especially Ramon on the front desk. Not only did he assist us in our stay but also recommended places to go to & activities to do. Breakfast each day was excellent. I also dined in the bar & really enjoyed our meals :-D
The staff and fasilitets.
uncomfortble pillows, the airconditioner Controller on the wall making noises
We liked all the facilities. The hotel is close to the trains and trams, the room was large, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and had allergy information. Room service was good. The swimming pool was big enough for us, we liked the gym, the hotel had free baggage storage too
One member of staff took the coffee flask from a table she was cleaning and poured the remains into the main coffee machine and refilled the flasks at the tables, seems unhygienic as we don't know how old the coffee is and if it had been contaminated from previous use. We only had one pillow each in bed. You can ask for more pillows, however it would be easier for us and the hotel if they had spare pillows in the room.
Nice reception staff. Location, particularly in relation to tram lines, and in relation to Bogstadsveien.
Bed was great, pillows were a big let down! Room was either too hot or too cold all the time. Children running amok in the gym and sauna without supervision. Not the best breakfast food. Not enough selection on TV. Cleaning personnel coming at weird hours. Bad phone reception and wifi connectivity Poor service - when informing reception that the gym was out of towels, they sort of shrugged and said, "That's all that's down there".
Breakfast; friendly staff
Bed to small, Sauna of the Ladies were out of order since a long time, summit-bar was closed over the whole stay, Restaurant closed on Sunday
Convenience of the location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, Enzo restaurant excellent and a convenient meeting place for family
We struggled with the internet but worked most of the kinks out
Good location next to Grand Palace, Fantastic breakfast offering, good room size, good value for money.
Room a bit dated.
Location adjacent to tram only 4 stops to central Oslo, renovated room (you must request one), small window that opened in room, lovely and substantial breakfast buffet, quieter area of Oslo, walking distance to Karl Johans Gate, Dale of Norway store on lower level promenade where I bought a sweater for 399 Kroner being sold at airport and other stores for 2500+ Kronor.
Small glass shower door allowed water to spray into bathroom.
Staff were very helpful and friendlly, the location was central but also adjacent to the tram stop so was perfect.
Excellent location. Nice hotel Friendly and efficient front desk staff
Beds and pillows very uncomfortable no fridge in the room no hair dryer in one room
