Rica Oslo Hotel  

Super convenient location, just steps from the train station, which is very handy when you have a very late arriving train. Rooms were good size as well with a bit of a view down the walk street. The staff seemed to be friendly enough.

Rooms looked to need some care, maybe time for a bit of a refurbishment. The carpet was rather dingy, the linens not as perfectly clean as you would expect, and I had to wedge my door up with a bottle opener in order to make the deadlock actually close. For the price, just walking a few more blocks you can get something a lot more modern without the loud people making noise on the street below until 3 am. Also, the bathrooms were very tiny, could hardly fit in the shower, and was frustrated that the luggage room was just self-service. Made you feel less than secure about leaving bags there while out exploring the town.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The location - just across from the railway station was very conveninet for us.

Our room was fairly small and only really suitable for an overnight stay. There was not enough room for us to store our suitcases. The bathroom too was small. We stored our luggage with the hotel after we checked out. But the room was in the basement and guests were just given the key to access it ourselves. I would not have been happy leaving an unlocked bag there or anything of value. It was very insecure.

Location to Central Station. Reasonable value for money (for Oslo!)

Tv was poor quality - very limited choice of programmes. Lounge / bar area lacked any real warmth or intimacy.

It would take more than 300 words it a hotel only for nice people thanks you and have a marry xmaxs to all the staff and I mean it god jul .

Breakfast was a bit poor for me

Was a good choice with friendly staff, a nice breakfast and a clean hotel.

We booked a junior Suite as a couple and we got two separate beds (twin beds). When asking for a proper double bed, the answer was that all junior suites have twin beds. This is not really useful for a couple. The rest of the stay was great!

We only stayed one night just prior to heading home from our trip. It was conveniently located next to the train station. If we were staying longer, I probably would have chosen a different location b/c the area was a little sketchy at night. The buffet breakfast was huge with many options. The staff was polite and helpful. The roof was massive and quite comfortable.

The location is really good. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly abd helpful.

Good location. But comparing with Rica Park Hotel at Sandefjord where I stayed on 6th-8th, September, the cleanness, hospitality and comfotability is less.

-The Location of the hotel was very good. -The size of the room compared to the price paid was good. -The rooms were clean -Free Intrenet connectivity and speed was very good. -The staff at the reception was very helpful.

-The cleaning lady came into the room without knocking. We infomed to the Reception. -The hotel was not able to offer Umbrellas for the guests. -Room service was not possible so even if we wanted some milk for the child then we had to get from their restaurant or buy from a grocery store nearby.
