Needed a hotel that was close to the train station, so I booked Rica Oslo. I was pleasantly surprised by the proximity to the train station. We were on holiday with very tight train and bus schedules, this hotel's location was perfect. Near a busy street at night which was an avenue for people exiting clubs etc. However, I did not mind it at all.

Very convenient location for an overnight stay in Oslo. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought the hotel was a little on the pricey side. No bbc World on the tv, only cnn.

Location to Central Station. Reasonable value for money (for Oslo!) Tv was poor quality - very limited choice of programmes. Lounge / bar area lacked any real warmth or intimacy.

Was a good choice with friendly staff, a nice breakfast and a clean hotel. We booked a junior Suite as a couple and we got two separate beds (twin beds). When asking for a proper double bed, the answer was that all junior suites have twin beds. This is not really useful for a couple. The rest of the stay was great!

The location is ideal for anyone arriving late in Oslo as we did. The hotel can be seen from the West exit of Oslo Sentralstasjon transport hub. Rooms are well furnished and reasonably comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food. Not the quietest hotel we have been in as our room overlooked a "Trumpet Bar" and there was some noise from that direction. It wasn't too bad however. Only other problem we had was we were a bit too warm at night but the weather was unseasonably mild.

The location was ideal for getting about Oslo and for transportation to & from the airport. The Standard Room, did not have tea/coffee making facilities. This is a fairly standard service offered worldwide, including budget hotels and guest houses.

The breakfast is excellent, looks for a 5 star hotel with american/english breakfast, salmon and other good food, but also a rich choice of cereals, yogurt and others for a traditional mediterranean breakfast. This hotel looks a good 4 star hotel and its location is very good to visit the attraction of oslo city. I did like everythig, only is important to ask for a quiet room avoiding the rooms with windows on the main street

-The Location of the hotel was very good. -The size of the room compared to the price paid was good. -The rooms were clean -Free Intrenet connectivity and speed was very good. -The staff at the reception was very helpful. -The cleaning lady came into the room without knocking. We infomed to the Reception. -The hotel was not able to offer Umbrellas for the guests. -Room service was not possible so even if we wanted some milk for the child then we had to get from their restaurant or buy from a grocery store nearby.

Nice hotel and room, friendly staff. Close to shops, transport and restraunts. Eacy walking distance to most of oslo. Good free wifi. Best breakfast buffet I've ever seen. There was one or two dodgy looking people hanging around the area. No wifi in the breakfast room.

Position was fantastic On booking my email request for a bath tub and quiet room was not replied to.On arrival the only way I could get the above was to upgrade the room. Our room was very quiet - so much so that we slept in and missed our first breakfast!( Worth getting up for). The room had very little wardrobe and drawer space - we ended up living out of a suitcase. Overall very expensive, but perhaps that's Norway for you.

Highly recommended! Great location, great price/quality ratio but above all I want to stand out the quality of the staff! Great location, good price/quality, but above all great staff! We spent a week across Norway and arriving to Rica Oslo Hotel july 31st at 11pm and the staff was absolutely outstanding regarding our needs (Child bed, flight tickets, city info,...). The best staff we met In Norway.
