Poor service

The comfort was really bad for 4 stars. The room did not look like it is described in the pictures on booking.com. Moreover, we got a really bad room, where we had to climb down some stairs, like we were going in the basement. It was dirty. Definelty not 4 star hotel in the center of Oslo. We received another room, but still, the comfort lacks a real 4 star hotel.

The hotel was 100m from Oslo Central Train Station. Good friendly staff. Good breakfast (good choices). Mini-bar in such a small room

Single bed, very small room, small shower and en-suite. Outside noise. Lumpy bed.

I was given a single room, more like a cell than a hotel room - even in Oslo I expect better for £140

It is just beside the Central Train station and smack in the middle of the City centre. Staff service was also great, particularly a front desk officer, Marlen - she was amazing!

Comfortable room, fairly quiet, very nice staff, excellent breakfast, agreeable atmosphere.

Location to transportation and city centre

Need to replace the mattress as it was so uncomfortable. The mattress was shocking, raised it with reception but nothing was done about it. It was a shame as everything else was great.

Room too small

My room was comfortable and spacious; very nice to have a bathtub. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was very central and convenient for public transportation.

The knob for the fold-out table for your luggage was loose, and fell off when I tried to open it. I didn't see that an alarm clock was provided.

Location. Central and close to railway station. The rooms facing inwards are extremely quiet.

Use of the computer in the lobby. I didn't get a wake up call for breakfast and that was a bit annoying but you did give me a later check out which was appreciated.

Is ok for couple of day if you going on business trip

Is the second time I stop there and this time my room was on the first floor with window right in from of a night club. So imagine how noisy got during the night

Staff waa very friendly, location was perfect just by the cental station and everythig was in a walking distance, breakfast was incredibly good it was a big buffet and everything was delicious! I would stay there again and again! Really good hotel and good price everything was clean and nice!:)

Gorgeous breakfast: lots of variety, high quality, unobtrusive and very efficient staff. The room was quiet (which we asked for) and clean. Hotel is opposite the station, so ideally located.

Everything else: the room and the bathroom were both very small, the bed was too narrow for us (even though we are both slim) and very soft. Perhaps worst of all: we could not open any of the windows and were forced to sleep with the airco on. Unfortunately there was no way to adjust the airco and, since the room was so small, things got rather stuffy during the night. This hotel room is by no means worth 4 stars; I don't know about the other rooms. I won't book a room here anymore.

Staff were extrememly friendly and helpful! Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Location extrememly close to central station...but not a great area for a 'holiday'. Did not feel safe walking around by myself - in the day aswell as when it went dark.

Locationn very close to the train station! Across the street! The tourist info center was there as well!

The hair dryers and TV Were very old. They need to be replaced! A bit over priced but so is everything in Oslo!

Rica Oslo was, as promised, located conveniently. Its breakfast was a treat with varied menu items to help begin the day. Out the door and onto Karl Johan's Gate for window shopping, pausing for coffee, or an ale, and on to cultural and historic sites, even the harbor, on foot. Always a pleasant face at the counter and efficient service too.

Members of the drinking class congregating on the street below our window in the early hours of our last morning in Oslo. We lost some needed rest, before a long travel day.

The desk staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good and well laid out. The rooms were of adequate size.

The scrambled eggs were not good. Too hard, cooked at too high temperature and for too long. Not at all as good as the scrambled eggs we had at Hotel Sture Plan in Stockholm -- which were heavenly. Soft and delicious, probably made with cream/milk, but not much. We gave up the scrambled eggs and had the boiled eggs which were good. The bacon was also too hard.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Rooms are small.

The hotel locates just in front of the cenral station. Access is excellent. The room is clean with friendly staff.

I would have been happier if I could watch BBC world news (although CNN was available). I was able to watch BBC either in Copenhagen or Lofoten.
