The atmosphere, hotel with style. The breakfast

The room did not live up to expectations and atmosphere from the rest.

    I liked the buffet breakfast

I booked a double room for myself and my wife. But when we were first checked in we were givin the key to room 103.the first impressions of our accommodation to begin with were disenchanting . Not only did our room door have a digit missing reminiscent of Fawlty Towers, but once through the door into the ground floor room looking onto the back car park with no bath, we decided to ask at reception for a room with a bath and something that looked a little bit more like the picture on . I think room 103 looked more like a staff quarter . Thankfully we were givin a different key by a different receptionist to another room on the 8th floor which did have a nice view of the harbour and a bath . Our stay was otherwise graceful. Shame about the first room

Location is very good, it is a bright hotel with enormous facilities, easy to find , beautiful building.

    Not any thing really.

    Good breakfast

Ridiculous opening hours of the SPA/Swimming pool, closing at 16:00 on holidays when check in is after 15:00. Bad layout with elevators stopping mid-floors, meaning that you still have a flight of stairs to do. Not good if you have child trolleys or for that matter wheelchairs

Breakfast was good lots of options to choose from and there was plenty comfortable seating

Very grumpy rude front of house staff when I arrived, the room was very basic with no view at all... It's really not good value for money

Fantastic breakfast, second to none (and we have been around). Good work-out facilities, excellent pool, sauna and steam bath.

The room was small. The hotel specializes on congresses and alike, and is popular with large groups and events, and it is simply to crowded at times.

Very good buffet breakfast and helpful personnel. Great location and view

It was very cold in the room. We had to ask for 2 extra batteries. Bad isolation. Interior is far from new.

Only stayed 1 night and all went well. Really liked the extra mile they went to for very early breakfasts. Not something i have seen in other hotels.

Need to provide clear directions form train station and not just that it is a 10 min walk.

Buffet breakfast is of splendid variety - 4 return visits mostly on that basis 15 minute taxi from Torp airport but 20 minute walk from station - location is nice but if you want the sea view (beautiful in winter) make sure the room is Deluxe (Standard will view the carpark and Superior looks over the hills) and without the sea view it's just a slightly run down hotel a long walk from the station - with the Deluxe room it's a great view in a good sized room and great stay - without it....try the Atlantic

Place feels generally a bit run down - in 9 visits to Sandefjord I've chosen to go elsewhere the last 4 but the building work at the front of the hotel had finished so I thought I would try it again Rooms are small and poorly spec'ed (i.e compared to the similarly priced Clarion Atlantic) - lack of robes, small towels, weakish shower etc - [picking hairs here as both hotels are far from basic] Staff are thin on ground at breakfast and three days running no-one was available for the coffee at table service at breakfast but they are very helpful Overall I don't think I'll go back again - the Clarion Atlantic is nicer and only 3 minutes walk from the station (I haven't tried the Kong Carl yet which is virtually opposite)

Good, big hotel with very nice lobby. It was possible to eat breakfast at 5 a.m. Close to city centre.

We had 2 rooms. One of it wasn't cleaned up well (dirty windows).
