Location, great breakfast,

Location is good.

Even though our rooms were confirmed, when we arrived one out of three rooms had been given away, and we were offered an alternative which was 15KM out of town. Totally unacceptable.

Loved the breakfast buffet. It is so very delicious and at the same time very healthy. Keep it up !

Price, quiet, easy

Excellent central location with very spacious foyer, great free broadband access, good en-suite with room and fine breakfast.

Tiny bedroom; only 1 staff member on duty after 6 so no help with iron etc.; English language TV channels not tuned in by day 4 despite my request Day 1 & Day 2; and Heating not good in bedroom but reception staff uncaring.

Ease of accessto the City

The reception staff were poor - this is not the first time that I have stayed at this hotel and there it would appear to always be a problem when you are paying by American Express. Not only did the lady on reception insist that both of my Amex cards were not accepted my collegue received the same poor treatment - she was insisting that we go to a local atm machine and draw cash using our Amex Cards which incurs costs and charges.

I came at the reception, the lady said there no room booked for me and there is no more available room, then I checked my email and show here my detailed booking reference. This is how the room became available. That was a big lie from here. How come the room became available then? customers should be respected dispite thier color, nationality etc. They all pay the same price!

I liked the breakfast, the room, the staff and the location of the hotel.

In downtown close to public transportation. Great breakfast choices. Friendly and helpful staff.

Tiny rooms but Oslo is very expensive so it had to do.

The hotel is situated in a very central position. The reception staff was very courteous and available. Breakfast was served with a wide variety of good food, in a well furnished hall.

Walking from the central station to the hotel is a quite long and uphill way. However, as mentioned in the "pro"s, the hotel is very close to the city centre. The room was pretty small, with the sole exception of the bathroom. One side of the bed was leaned against a wall, making it difficult to lie down, and in general there was little space in the room to move around.

Excellent location, friendly staff n practical hotel. Good breakfast.

Reasonable rooms, reasonale prices for Oslo

Reserved double room, which was not available. Staff placed me in single room without consulting me and still charging full amount for double room. After complaint no professional service by hotel staff in order to find acceptable alternative or to find a double room in other Rica Hotel in the proximity. Found myself another hotel accross the street through Booking.com. Can recommend Bondesheimen and will not return to Rica Travel any time soon.

Excellent location for someone "on foot", right in the middle of town, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast included. Rooms are clean and all basics are there and functional. Reasonable flat screen tv for those who cant survive without. Comfortable beds and no noise from neighbors or technical equipment so I'm delighted. The public coach to the airport (much more comfortable than the usual hotel shuttles) stops just a few yards away from the hotel entrance and its a really comfortable ride. That bus stop is temporary I expect, there are road works where it normally stops just one block away. We very much enjoyed our stay.

For the price, I'd have expected a room less cheap and tired looking, more luxurious, with some sort of view other than a back wall. But again, we enjoyed our stay and I have no qualms warmly recommending this hotel. I would certainly stay here again.

Very helpful staff. Spoke perfect English. Excellent and fresh breakfast included with lots of choices. Room was small but had everything necessary. Great location near the shopping street Karl Johan Gate and close to buses and train station. After check out they had a secure lock up to keep my luggage until I left for cruise port in late afternoon.

Small room but appropriate for the price though there was a noisy nightclub next door. Stairs to front desk made it hard for single female traveler with luggage.

Ontbijt. Heerlijk brood dat je zelf moest snijden. Het eerste hotel waar ik geen kleine kuipjes boter maar grote zag (bij het brood). Wat mij betreft prima.

Vi ble to venninner som delte rom. Vi oppgraderte rommet så det ble større enn det opprinnelige. Flott at det ordnet seg,for det rommet som opprinnelig var bestilt var lite. Det var blide personale og nydelig frokost.

excelente localizaçao, é possivel ir a pé até a estaçao de trem que leva ao aeroporto (1km).

Sengen var bare helt perfekt. Sov så godt! Fint at man kan få dobbelseng til samme pris som enkeltmannsrom. Herlig delikat frokost i behagelige omgivelser. Alt var topp til en fin pris!

Jeg har bodd her før, og trives meget bra. Veldig god frokost, mange aviser som kan leses. Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet i Oslo, enkelt både med trikk, Tbane og flytog, og for ikke å snakke om shopping.
