It was a good price and value for the money via booking.com, nice breakfast choice and quality, location in the city center, rooms equipped with iron, kettle with selection of tea and coffee, large TV, nice view from the vindow.
Old hotel, the things in the room a bit used, thin walls/ceiling - you can hear the neighbors, some rooms are smaller then others.
the redecorated room friendly staff breakfast
the smell of the kitchen in the restaurant downstairs, the hood definately needs a cleanup. Coming is from the outsite, or out of the elevator, it is like walking into a chip shop.
Well positioned, comfortable and welcoming staff. Good Jazz club on Saturday afternoon.
Lighting in bedroom very poor
Common areas Breakfast Staff
Broken fixtures in room Room not warm enough Twin bed are not pratical and uncomfortable
Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
No free tee and coffee.
Very efficient and friendly staff on reception. Good variety and plentiful breakfast.
Nice rooms newly renovated modern bath and good beds
No individual cooling system, same heat for all rooms, too hot. Visit to restaurant at hotel Entre' was not good. Ordered a glass of champagne as starter before dinner. But we were served dinner in 2 minutes after first mouthful of champagne. Before ordering wine for the meal. The meal was cold. It was clearly just heated up, while whole meal was on dish, meat on top was a little warm but cold vegetables below. Have never experienced anything like this.
It was located ok for us as we don´t mind a bit of a walk. Breakfast was OK. Coffee facilities in the room which is unusual in Norway.
The room was large but incredibly neglected and the traffic noise seemed worse inside than out on the street even though we were fairly high up. The mini bar was empty and we got two single beds rather than the double we had asked for. Breakfast was crowded and some people had to eat theirs sitting in the foyer.
Location close to centre.Good breakfast.clean room.comfortable bed.
The excessive continuous party noise from the street
No parking for the car
No bar of soap or washcloth.
I liked breakfast.
The room rate didn't match the booked rate.
View facing the harbor
Not convenient using fax or printer
superb location, helpful staff
Location and staff. Breakfast was v. good
Street noise. General air of needing some TLC viz wallpaper in room beginning to peel away from walls in a number of places.
The reception area was very modern and bright, we only had breakfast which was excellent the choice was amazing. We did not have the opportunity to have dinner.
The bedrooms need to be modernised our room had cigarette burns on the sink and the chairs had holes in the arms
The breakfast was nice.
The day of my arrival the cleanless of my room was only OK. The second day the cleaning was not done, I waited until the 3rd day to have my room cleaned. The day of my arrival they made me wait for 3 hours to get my room. Additionally I got a 2 beads room instead of a 1 large bed room as requested during the reservation process. Really disppointed of this hotel, I wouldn't recommend it to my collegues travelling to Bergen every week. Live and learn they say.
breakfast very tasty and lots of different things to chose from, we enjoyed the free tea
furniture in our room looked quite old, room bit dark, but all clean bathroom was a bit smelly.
Nice rooms and beds. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Free wi-fi.
The hotel is surrounded on three sides with streets with paving stones. With cars and motor-bikes travelling all night it makes it very noisy. Eventually we got a room on the fourth side. But there were music playing from the naborhood until 4 a'clock in the morning. We stayed three nights and did not get much sleep.
Friendly helpful staff Comfortably furnished rooms A good range of foods at breakfast Excellent location for city visit Bonus was a free bus ride to the Hurtigruten ferry terminal
Our room was very stuffy & warm due to the recent higher temperatures making it difficult to sleep but the staff delivered a fan to our room which did make a difference
The quality of real rooms is good. But be careful, they have old very bad rooms!!
Price is too high for a simple hotel. The bad rooms are really bad, never seen somethings like that!Staff is willing to change it if you sleep one night there. This is miserable to offer you a ruined room for 150 Eur per night!
Room was terribly overheated and when we asked it to be cooler they sent up a fan. Towels were threadbare, the room was barely serviced, beds were not made up and furniture was minimal.
Great location. Can get anywhere in the main city center area within a few minutes. Close to the Harbor. The breakfast was really incredible! Room was really clean.
Beds were not the most comfortable
