Evening reception staff helpful and friendly. Bathroom floor almost to hot, but nice.Quiet location.
Arrived Sunday and decided to eat in restaurant since only other facility was Service/Bus Station eatery. Big mistake paid a gourmet price for a sub standard meal, reheated roast beef with packet gravy and few poor veggies for $52 Australian, ouch!!!
- good location coming from Nordkapp on our way to Hammerfest - cheap compared to other options - very comfortable rooms and beds - balcony - nice interior design - very tasty breakfast included - mostly welcoming staff - the pool would've been nice with a sauna
- no fridge - the gym was hardly a gym (just a few machines in a very small room) - breakfast was not refilled anymore before it ended at 10 so we missed many basic things in it (we came 9.30) - saunas were not heated in the daytime, we had been hoping to take a sauna and swim after the breakfast (well, environmentally it's better if there are no users then) - one of the staff members was a bit sour on the day we were there
with pool and sauna way back from hammerfest to nordkapp dayafter nice dinner and i enjoy the stuff a lot. Professional!
Nothing was bad enough to complain, but, also, nothing was so perfect to be happy - everything was decent, clean, a spacious room, a fair breakfast, plenty of parking spots, good wi-fi - a decent place to crash for a night
TV selection was awful (2-3 channels) the location quite hidden and the price...well, it was the first time since travelling with Booking.com, when the reception price was smaller with the one offered by Booking.com (indeed, only with 10 NOK, but...the essence...) - anyhow, too pricey for the "overall package"
A bit expensive but everything is expensive in Norway
Many actration in the hotel and smiling staff... Very nice also breakfast and diner... Good swimming pool and solarium...
Meals, room, service
We have had a really nice stay, enjoyed pool downstairs. The Food in the restaurant was very good, breakfast was also great. Excellent hostess.
Good location and friendly atmosphere. Excellent buffet dinner and breakfast
- excellent cleanliness in room & rest of hotel. - hotel lobby and restaurant in very good state of repair - fabulous showers and comfortable beds in room - beautiful view over the valley - great spa facilities open 24 hours a day - breakfast options were relatively varied with continental 'all you can eat' style buffet serving tea, coffee, orange and apple juice; boiled eggs, different breads, cereal, tinned fruit, and Norwegian fish and seafood options as well as meats, cheeses and boiled eggs and small frankfurters - excellent tasty food in restaurant in evening, beautifully presented, and again 'all you can eat' (not included in price of stay) - helpful and friendly staff
- Norwegian prices leave your wallet a little empty - some people may have wanted further breakfast options such as scrambled eggs or bacon and sausages (not just boiled eggs and Frankfurters) - the meal we paid extra for in the evening was very expensive
Very nice and helpful staff, good food (both dinner & breakfast), excellent mountain view from the room, quiet and comfortable. Also has sauna and swimming pool, which we didn't use. Surprisingly good hotel for a small village.
some smell of chlorine (from swimming pool) in the hallway. None in the room though. Otherwise, great place.
The beds were very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was ok but the coffee was awfull and the fruits still frozen.
Only an overnight stop on our way to Nordkapp but thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what we consider as being a Nordic Ski Lodge atmosphere very relaxing experience with friendly staff.
Smoking of other guests in rooms - neglecting "no smoking" rules, ventilation system moves smoke to other rooms, intervention of the staff for the claim was immediate.
Excellent location to visit nearby places like Hammerfest. The breakfast was good.
The evening meal was a disappointment.
Convenient basecamp for traveling in North Norway. Nice view. Warm hospitality and friendliness. Quiet and comfortable room. Clock tower nearby the entrance :-)
the free spa and the pool. also the good breakfast and the nice Location with good view.
