Cheap and in the center of town.

There is a bar downstairs that is open untill 1.30 am every night. It's quite noisy.

Nothing. There were not cleaned and the bedding was not changed, so I had to find another hotel.

Good location just a few minutes walk from the closest airport bus stop (at Radisson Atlantic Hotel) and excellent view of the harbour; very close to all amenities and the lovely old centre of Stavanger - restaurants, pubs, all sorts of shops, cafes.

Checkin was at the Victoria Hotel next door and on arrival I was told my reservation had not been registered (I did have the booking.com confirmation) but fortunately they had rooms available. The Skansen Hotel itself is quite basic, as was my room - small, with only essential items although clean and ok. I felt the price was higher than it should have been for this. There is free wifi in the room and the breakfast, again at the Victoria Hotel, is excellent.

Room was quite basic for the cost but this appears to be in line with the economy of the area

A bit noisy as my room was at the corner of two roads

Good location and close to ferry. They gave me a room at corner so I had a nice view of the harbor. Breakfast was great. Good for one or two ppl and great value for money

- Breakfast at Hotel Victoria (were the reception is based as Skansen has no own reception)

- no elevator to the fourth floor - price to high in relation to quality (but it is Stavanger level)

The Hotel is right in the heart of Stavanger

Worn out Hotel

Price, location. Good if you just want a cheep bed, well cheep for norway. Only bad thing really, NO wardrobe or anyware to put your clothes

The location is excellent. Good breakfast and very comfortable rooms.

Cheap and central - fine if that is all you are looking for and expecting.

There's a reason why it's cheap - rooms are basic with old decor, and there was a lot of external noise from the adjacent bar.

I spent my time living in the 13th room: it has an agreable warm floor in the bathroom. The check in (by the Victoria Hotel, situated nearby the Skansen itself) was very fast and professional. The price, in a such expansive town as Stavanger, was affordable.

The 13th room (where I slept) was on the first floor, and - due to the window which didn't work properly - a little bit noisy and cold.

Very good situated Breakfast was in Victoria Hotel and was very good!

Terrible and very loud music from the nearest bar until 3 AM!!!! Drunken men from the bar were crying until 4 PM!!! It wasn't easy next morning to start trip to Preikestolen because we don't sleep half night

Not too much except for check-in/out at Victoria Hotel and fabulous breakfast at the Victoria Hotel.

The door handle/lock on bathroom door was falling off and towel rack had fallen off... Reported to Victoria Hotel, but, never repaired... First two days, internet was down; second day, elevator was out of order for more than 24 hours moved last two days of our stay to Victoria Hotel and got luxurious accommodation at same price as Skansen.

Dirty building, bad smell, dirty room. No staff (only nearby in the Hotel Victoria, and pretty rude). The worst of the 8 hotel we have been in a trip around Norway. It would be too expensive also for a hostel, but they call it "hotel"!

Internet access doesn´t work; Poor tv; room clean but not nice;

Very central and easy accesible to ok price.

In weekends, because of staying very close to a nightclub, it would have been a good extraservice to have something to put in ears at rooms - so it could be possible to sleep at normal time.
