Solvåg Fjordferie  

Amid the stunning surroundings of the south-west coast of Norway, Solvåg Fjordferie is set amongst the peaceful surroundings of a fruit farm and enjoys spectacular views of the dramatic coastline of Ryfylke.

These boat-house cottages lie 50 meters from the water, and offer magnificent panoramic views. The high standard living quarters enjoy a harbour setting adjacent to a private beach. All the cabins and apartments have fully equipped kitchens and open fireplace. The complimentary firewood is stacked in a separate room by the boathouse.

The waters of the fjord are rich with almost every kind of fish from the North Sea and Solvåg FjordFerie has developed a specific fishing map for hobby fishermen.

The large, solid boats, for hire, are well suited to fishing trips along the fjord. All the larger boats are equipped with sonar equipment, and some also have GPS and electronic positioning and charting equipment.
Solvåg FjordFerie also has small boats, canoes, an optimist dinghy with sail, and a small 5 meter motor boat suitable for cruises the islands.

Don’t forget to take the chance to pick mushrooms and berries during summer and autumn.

On the farm lies an old Viking Age burial mound that dates back to between 500 - 1000 AD.
