One receptionist most helpful. Swimming pool. Great price. Good location. Great breakfast room with a view.
Met by a bag of garbage at front entrance. Some of staff at reception desk were incompetent and impolite.
rooms resembled hospital, breakfast buffet rather expensive and somewhat disappointing

Radiator not working.
Very clinical, felt like a hospital. Poor value for money compared to other hotels we stayed in in Norway.
Cosy. Friendly staff. Away from traffic but close to the center of the town. An inexpensive supermarket nearby.
Friendly helpful staff Great breakfast
Good location, quiet suroundings, splendid views, new interiors in the rooms (the whole hotel-part of this combined health-center/hotel seemed new), parking straight outside the walls
The room was a bit tiny, bed up to the wall, and - the breakfast was rather simple, at least at that room-price. (we believe the hotel prices in Tromsø had risen at least 50 % because of the chess olympics that week, but that is no excuse for serving cold eggs and not filling the trays when they were empty)
First, we were a bit confused about the hospital-atmosphere. But after a while, we found it a kind of cool. The Wifi was super fast, the room comfortable and there was enough space, also a table. The bathroom and shower was excellent. We would recommend this hotel for a stay in Tromsoe.
The breakfast-buffet was a bit poor and allmost empty half an hour before ending.
free tea and coffee, nice staff. good atmosphere. art of the walls
A bit far from the centre.
Nice spacious rooms and friendly staff.
Our room was next to the laundry room and they were still doing laundry at 11pm. The noise was horrible. We couldn't reach the reception because there is no staff after 9 pm. We picked this place because it has a pool, but it was closed for summer. If we knew that, we would have booked a hotel in the city center.
The room was good, Part of a working hospital/nunnery apparently. Parking was good. wifi was good.
It was very strange being in nice rooms in a part of a hospital type building. Distance to food. we had a dry evening but it would be a pain if wet. reception closed very early, metal grill across the room.
- location - free parking
- must pay for the "expensive" breakfast but it was nothing!!
Price Very quiet - wouldn't believe it's in a city
Breakfast didn't start until 0800 in the morning during summer, hence I had to find breakfast somewhere else before attending a meeting in the morning
Fire Alarm rang More Times in one Night without there being a Fire!
1. I had a bad night. Could not sleep on the first night. Because on the 5th floor, there was a wedding party went on till 3.00am. The sound was so loud. Night security came twice but he could not bring the noise down. Because the hotel has given permission to have loud music to the party till 3,00am. I complained but the hotel management was silence, forget the compensation but not even an apology. Looks like they really do not care about the customers. 2. Breakfast is unmanned, the staff appear for a short time and they get disappear. Not very eager to see whether food is enough.
Very peaceful location. Great views over the fjord from the restaurant.
Very nice location and mountain view from the window. Good facilities to do sport and I really liked the decoration, really cosy place with nice staff!
Had a really good sleep.
Breakfast not included, parking is expensive.
The hotel is very close to the FRAM Centre where I was supposed to go the next day, so very convenient for me. I really liked the facilities at the hotel, being able to use a kitchen and especially the gymnasium downstairs.
Nothing, everything was just right.
Clean and good location, nice to have a pool available.
Had a hospital feel. No carpets in the room.
Fabulous view from restaurant
Friendly staff, Communal kitchen due to cost of eating out in Norway. Breakfast. View from restaurant 20 minute hill walk from Tromso town but worth it for the views and quiet position. Lovely swimming pool.
Only had earl grey tea available a choice of English breakfast tea would have made the stay perfect.!
Hotel swimming pool.
This is not a real hotel but instead a Spa facility. As a result no care is taken about hotel visitors. A very restricted access to swimming pool at awkward hours; used for Spa guests and general public rather than hotel visitors. Hotel is advertised as having great mountain views, but apparently only from a few single rooms, given to Spa guests only. We stayed in a dingy room with views at earth bank! Breakfast very poor. When asked for a reason, staff informed that it was because the facility is serving Spa customers and not hotel guests.Full circle of a bad experience.
Friendly helpful and clean
Location - 15 minutes walk
