Sunde Fjord Hotel

Located right on the fjord- excellent views, lovely modern rooms, quite spacious, good free Internet. Very helpful hosts.

Is like back home! A dream! Is difficult to leave the hotel, you will want the holiday to never end! This hotel is a must for Norway! Traveling without a car will make yours getting around a little beat difficult, but you will find everything near by! I will go back soon....

Breakfast can be a little more "like home"....

The view, the deck/patio and the decor of the room were nice.

The beds were too soft and too small, the shower is too simple (e.g. No shower curtain, which makes the entire shower wet + only 1 towel per person).

Comfortable, large, room with 2 lounge chairs, large balcony , floor to ceiling windows with fjord view. This would be the best accommodation we have had in 3 months of travelling.Good value for money. Contrary to other comments about ferry noise we did not notice it at all. Inga the owner, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

View was more than excellent.

Heating was weak. You can't make your room dark at night. (Norwegian summer is bright.)

The spectacular view almost takes your breath away, and the large room with its fresh new white upholstery and good beds covered with crisp linens were not exceeded by any of the hotels we stayed at during our trip. The hostess is very gracious and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

Although not terribly far from the city of Alesund, the bus connection from the Sogne Fjord Hotel is not direct, so it takes a while to get to and from town, particularly if you miss a bus. A perfect place for someone with a car, this hotel is a bit problematic for someone using public transportation.

Great location despite being very close to the Fjord1 ferry terminal (we knew about that prior to booking). Our room was excellent (one of the deluxe ones for which we paid extra). The lady who ownes the hotel was very friendly.

We were a little disappointed with the breakfast provided. It wasn't bad but in comparison to the other hotels we stayed in during our week in Norway, it was the worst we had. For example, no yogurts and the only fruit on offer were kiwi cut into halves. Non the less we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

dishonest in not also telling you that it is adjacent to the ferry and noisy traffic, and from some rooms the view would have only been the ferry ! poor breakfast quality

Locatin is excellent!!! Rooms (deluxe or suite) are ok. Inga (the owner of the hotel) is very nice and helpfull. If you are going to Alesund for nature view or fishing this hotel is right choice.

There is no refregirator even in Suite. I lost my Norwegian chesse in canteen:-(((( There is no any restaurant nearby.

Terrific location right at the harbor near the ferry terminal; wonderful view of the fjord from the rooms!

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot near Alesund (note that about 20 min drive from town). The room was spacious and has acces to a balcony where you can see the waterfront. The owner was very helpful and suggested interesting places to visit and to dine at. Do not miss the view from the Askla lookout. Beautiful. Te sun at this time of the year (June 24) barely sets so there is light all night long. Great experience.

This hotel is one of the greatest hotels during our stay in Norway. We have been travelling for 7 days there and have been staying in 6 hotels. But Sunde Fjord Hotel was the best one. Great staff, good room, coffee/tea is offered any time, good breakfast, Wi-Fi Internet is perfect. You will find here anything you need for your stay. I would recommend this hotel for travellers.

Very good hotel. Clean, spacious and good rooms with an outstanding view from the balcony. The service couldn't been better. Highly recommended!

The hotel is simply amazing. The woman in the reception gave us a so warm welcome that I would come back again just to see her again. We got an upgrade on our room because the hotel was fully booked and the surprise was incredible. The view of the Norwegian fjordes is really beautiful from the hotel balcony.

Hotellet har nogle suverænt hyggelige og indbydende værelser. Mange direkte til fjorden med flot udsigt. Indretningen virker personlig og overgår hvad jeg tidligere har set.

Lidt ked af at der ikke var restaurant. Morgenmad dog helt fint.

湖光山色，风景如画。家庭型旅馆，一对老夫妻开的，服务很热情。虽然离奥勒松市区较远，但是宾馆附近就有公- 车站，能乘公交到奥勒松。

Sehr schönes und helles Zimmer mit großer Terrasse.

Verpflegung war schlecht, da es kein Angebot am Abend gab. Das Frühstück war untere Mittelklasse.

Excellent accueil par la charmante propriétaire. Chambres très vastes, claires, confortables, avec vue superbe sur le fjord et le ferry.Parfait pour une halte d'une nuit.

Wunderbare Lage am Fjord,herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die besten Zimmer werden zuerst vergeben und nicht für evt.Celebritäten reserviert.Der nahe liegende Fähranleger stört kaum. Gerne und jederzeit wieder.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
