Vi hade ett vackert rum ut mot hamnen och Oslofjorden med en bedövande utsikt. Frukostbuffén var morgon överträffade hela tiden den föregående morgonen. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera en vistelse på Thons hotell. Extrasängen var av dålig kvalitet och madrassen till för tunn, vi sa till om det och fick en madrass till och det blev lite bättre.Vi saknade ett spa eller någon som kunde massage/ge behandling. En boulebana tror vi fanns vid hamnen men hotellet hade inga bollar, för förströelse. Mer utrustat för konferens än att vara på.

Hotellpersonalet var veldig hyggelige og serviceinstilt. Føneren på rommet mitt virket ikke, og da var det et personalet I resepsjonen som reiste hjem og hentet si egen føner. Snakk on flott service, jeg er imponert. Jeg var bare på hotellet en natt, men er meget fornøyd.

Har hatt en fin,fin dag i Åsgårdstrand.Det pøssregnet da eg kom fredag 5 August men strålend varmt sommer vær neste dag.Hotellet ligger så vakkert nede ved strandkanten og utsikten over sjøen er vidunderlig.Den gir ro isjelen og det trenger alle i denne vanskelige tid etter katastrofen i Oslo og på Utøya.Eg synes det var luksus å bo på Thon'shotel:vennlig peresonalet,god mat,kjempe god seng og stille om kvelden.Eg vill gjerne komme igjen.Vennlig hilsen Lisette Haukelidsæter

Lyse, store rom, hyggelig personale, utsikt, beliggenhet. Skjolder på teppet i 3 etg etter som så ut til å komme av en stor vannlekkasje. Gjorde ikke meg noe, men det trekker ned inntrykket noe.

Det tilfredsstilte de forventninger og behov jeg hadde I den perioden jeg var der. Det var rolig og ordentlig. Det var forholdet mellom bestilling og det rom jeg fikk tildelt. Jeg hadde bestilt og fått bekrefet et singel queen rom med hund, hvilket ikke var mulig å få. En uheldig start på et opphold med en diskusjon om dette som gjorde at jeg med misnøye innstallerte meg. Hvis man ikke kan få det man bestiller, bør det ikke sendes en bekreftelse på bestillingen uten å gi beskjed om at det bestilte er umulig. Som sagt; en dårlig start og førsteinntrykk!
