I was travelling with my mother to this hotel was perfect for us. Excellent breakfast, location, and overall value for money. The room has what you need and is comfortable. It is 2mins from where the airport bus drops you off/picks you up. 15 mins walk to the main railway station (where you go for the fjord tours). Also, our room had a view of the water! We were very happy with this hotel and would recommend and stay there again. I couldn't figure out how to turn off the bathroom light. They didn't have information about the fjord tours... Although they provided information on the tourist information and airport bus information. Acutally, they were really great and nothing to complain about.

The location was reasonable for the price. Staffs were polite and quite helpful. Coffee and hot drinks available at lounge at all times. Lounge was quite comfortable and cozy. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel, given there were a few Thon Hotels in that area. Breakfast room was a bit messy, and tables were left uncleaned after guest were done with their breakfast.

Excellent location near historic section of Bergen. Good breakfast. Perhaps by Norwegian standards the price is reasonable, though it will cause pain to non-Norwegians. Over-priced for non-Norwegians. Really at budget standard. No cupboard space. Shower drainage very poor (had to move from first room as we flooded the bathroom). Second room only slightly better. Recommendation is highly qualified for these reasons.

Good location within easy walking distance of all the famous features of Bergen including the old harbour, fish market, funicular railway and an excellent range of restaurants. Carrying heavy luggage 200m to the airport bus.

Location , next to Castle, next to seaside and haebour, walking from Bryggen, The interior is poorly ventilated with stuffy feeling. Breakfast is basic as compared to Thun hotels in other locations. There is room for improvement.
