hotel tranquillo, in posizione molto comoda. personale cortese e colazione ricca e piacevole in una ariosa "breakfast room". le camere sono pulite e comode, ma mancano la cassaforte e l'armadio. Potendo, chiedete le camere che danno sulla strada: quelle interne (la maggior parte) danno sul cortile coperto e sull'altra ala dell'edificio che è molto vicino. in questa fascia di prezzo mi aspettavo che fosse compresa la connessione wi-fi, la tv satellitare generica (mentre offrono solo film a pagamento o canali norvegesi) e una zona bar interna all'hotel. |

Good location for central Oslo. Free internet in reception Free wireless internet in the rooms would be an added extra especially for those in the city on business. |

Good location in city centre. Good selection for breakfast. I was given a smoking room, no questions asked. When I reached the room, I asked for non smoking and was given an upgrade. Presumably, there was no non-smoking room left? Surely, hotel staff understand that smoking rooms are non-standard these days and should take initiative without being asked? |

Smart friendly reception. Great location. Good breakfast buffet. Sadly, the nearby main sq attracts a number of drunks and prostitutes at the weekend. Not the hotel's fault, but a sign of the times. That said, it is not as bad as most major cities (price of drinks being to our advantage here!). |

Thon Cecil is a high quality hotel in its class. I had a very good breakfeast during my stay. The room was always clean and satisfactory. Although I found the staff a bit cold (especially who was at the reception desk) I recommend this hotel for your stay at Oslo. |

The location of the hotel is just perfect for people who want to visit the city. The main street Karl Johans Gate as well as the harbor is at walking distance. I recommend it for a trip city of 2-3 days. The bed were pretty small. |

This was the best hotel (out of 5 plus a 'Pension') we stayed at during a recent 10 day tour of Western Norway. The room was modern, a good size and the breakfast offered a good choice including hot food(!). The free internet and coffee were a bonus. The staff were also very helpful and pleasant. But we have one important niggle below.... Unlike the Thon Slottsparken the breakfast here was served from 0800 at weekends. This would not be acceptable for those needing to catch a long distance bus or train many of which leave at this time or earlier. For those in the latter category they would be better off in one of the 3 Thon 'budget' hotels in Oslo which are closer to the station(s) and breakfast is an optional extra. |

The situation in town is excellent. I had a lovely superior bedroom, and they gave me a bag with some breakfast the day I left because it was 4:00h For spanish standards bedroom will be calified as standard and not superior. Coffe breakfast is horrible, but it always happens in Norway, but the coffee in the lobby is not that bad. |

As a regular business traveller to Oslo the location is ideal for me as it is centeral to my business needs. Rooms are ok clean and tidy and breakfast service is good with a fair selection Limited evening service for food but you are advised before you book. It could do with a few more internet access machines for guests, currently they only have one |

Ingen spesielle positive eller negative opplevelser.Men det var veldig sentralt og hyggelig folk i resepsjonen. Det var veldig kaldt i frokostsalen,ingen betjening å se! |

Meget hyggelig og profesjonell stab. Vi følte oss velkomne fra første stund. Var ekstra heldige da vi ble oppgradert til et Business-rom til samme pris som det vi opprinnelig hadde bestillt. Meget bra og kmfortabelt rom. De kunne prøve å få en avtale med Europark,Sentrum Parkering (Gamle Ibsen Parkering) slik som en rekke andre hoteller rundt Studenterlunden har. (25% rabatt), da de har få plasser å tilby selv. |

Hotellet ligger sentralt. God frokost Vi skulle få rom fra kl.15.00, rommet var ferdig først kl.16.45. Vi skulle i teater og fikk dårlig tid. Måtte vente i resepsjonen lenge. Det er ikke mulig å regulere varmen lokalt på rommet, svært varmt om natta. |

Trevlig personal, bra med parkering i källaren,centralt läge, kaffe automat i receptionen, snabb ut och insjekk. Grand lit säng är inget trevlig upplevelse om en av personerna sover oroligt, för en natt är det ok. |

Et greit overnattingssted. Fin og fungerende sove- og dusjplass når man egentlig er i Oslo for annet ærend. Fint frokostbord. Det kunne gjerne vært en dusjmatte i dusjen. Badegolvet blir litt glatt når man benytter sjampo. |
