Good location in city centre. Good selection for breakfast.

I was given a smoking room, no questions asked. When I reached the room, I asked for non smoking and was given an upgrade. Presumably, there was no non-smoking room left? Surely, hotel staff understand that smoking rooms are non-standard these days and should take initiative without being asked?

Smart friendly reception. Great location. Good breakfast buffet.

Sadly, the nearby main sq attracts a number of drunks and prostitutes at the weekend. Not the hotel's fault, but a sign of the times. That said, it is not as bad as most major cities (price of drinks being to our advantage here!).

Thon Cecil is a high quality hotel in its class. I had a very good breakfeast during my stay. The room was always clean and satisfactory. Although I found the staff a bit cold (especially who was at the reception desk) I recommend this hotel for your stay at Oslo.

The location of the hotel is just perfect for people who want to visit the city. The main street Karl Johans Gate as well as the harbor is at walking distance. I recommend it for a trip city of 2-3 days.

The bed were pretty small.

The situation in town is excellent. I had a lovely superior bedroom, and they gave me a bag with some breakfast the day I left because it was 4:00h

For spanish standards bedroom will be calified as standard and not superior. Coffe breakfast is horrible, but it always happens in Norway, but the coffee in the lobby is not that bad.

Breakfast on Saturday and Hotel's umbrellas helped to survive November in Oslo

Hotellet ligger sentralt. God frokost

Vi skulle få rom fra kl.15.00, rommet var ferdig først kl.16.45. Vi skulle i teater og fikk dårlig tid. Måtte vente i resepsjonen lenge. Det er ikke mulig å regulere varmen lokalt på rommet, svært varmt om natta.

La calefacción está demasiado alta y es imposible de apagar por la noche.

Trevlig personal, bra med parkering i källaren,centralt läge, kaffe automat i receptionen, snabb ut och insjekk.

Grand lit säng är inget trevlig upplevelse om en av personerna sover oroligt, för en natt är det ok.

det var utrolig dårlig at vi ikke kunne regulere aircondirtion fra rommet,det var varmt og vi kunne ikke åpne vindu for frisk luft, derfor er det viktig at aircondition kan reguleres fra rommet. vi bodde på 409 der var garderobeforholdene elendig! Sjekk dette !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
