Thon Hotel Gardermoen

I stayed overnight between flights. The check-in was quick, the staff courteous and helpful, and the room clean and pleasant.

The drawback is that there is not much soundinsulation between the rooms, so that you can hear the television and talking. Fortunately for me, the guests in the neighbouring room turned in at a reasonable hour. I should note that when I phoned the hotel before arriving, to make sure my reservation was okay, they did not have it, and therefore no room booked for me. They then went on to you website and found my reservation, and fortunately had room available. So, please explain or I will likely not use Booking.com in the future.

For the price and options offered by the hotel, this was the best hotel I've ever paid for.

We were pleased with the quality of breakfast for only 65 kroner, and available even for early flights.

The exterior design was a little stark and unfriendly, but rooms were fine.It was suitable for a stop-over on our journey north, as we arrived late and left early. Would have liked tea/coffee available in the room.

Excellent value and spacious rooms! We will look for other Thon budget hotels when we travel ... our best value in Norway. Staf was very attentive.

Efficient service, close to airport, convenient & efficient bus/shuttle service to and from airport (every 15min). neat, functional & comfortable room, good quality and variety of food for breafkfast.

It was what we expected having stayed in a Thon Hotel in Trondhiem. Good value. PS: We didn't read any reviews about hotel!!!(last question in this section)

Clear, efficient and simple formula; budget but fresh and modern; they just deliver what you need and do that right. The way the hotel is built makes that you experience space and that the rooms are very quiet. Quiet neighbourhood, hardly noise from airplanes. Clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast

If you're looking for authenticity or a cosy hotel, this is not your place. Count the extra cost for breakfast and shuttle bus.

Nice people, short way to airport

Yes, lack of ventilation / air condition. I was very hot the day we stay at the hotel. We did almost not sleep at all during the night due to high temp. Some portable fans could have been of great help.

Simple, elegant & airport convenient accommodations for a relatively good price plus a nice breakfast also at a reasonable price.

Air conditioning - Oslo gets warm in July and the window did at least open but not enough!

Friendly staff

The surrounding scenery was beautiful. The early morning breakfast enables one to get ready for the day ahead. The shuttle service was very convenient. The room was indeed comfortable and refreshing

With regard to meals, the Hotel should highlight that there are several restaurants around half a km away because the Pizza and Chinese takeaway options not very economical for the single traveller, but once you see the choices near the gas station then everything becomes ok.. The Chinese menu card should be in English also.
