the hotel was a matter of steps from the flytoget(airport express)train, which made our arrival so simple. oslo is so compact that the hotels location was good for the major sites. i was concerned with the fact that others had mentioned homeless/drug users in the local area, but there were only some outside the main train station entrance, quite away from the hotel, and they were no bother at all- we felt totally safe. there was no room service- odd for such an otherwise excellent hotel. we used the restaurant, which was expensive- but everything is Oslo is, and the food was excellent. |

very close to station, breakfast ok, gym and sauna and solarium are ok, rooms also ok but not for a long stay very big hotel, could be good for a couple of days, station area is full of drugs addicted which you wouldn't like to see on holidays |

cleanliness, staff, services, breakfast, confort I pointed only 'good' but not 'excellent' to the hotel staff/ confort points only for the fact that there was no posibility to 'stop' the air conditioning (that was too cold for us!); practically, we were forced to adapt to that situation, but no posibility switch off the AC. However a receptionist told me that it will be automatically stoped at 24:00, but not happened. This is the only thing that we disliked there. All the other things were perfect. |

located practically attached to the train station (but no noise) that was the reason of our hotel choise it's a standard big hotel, more as a superio 3 stars than a 4 stars hotel; even the occupancies was less than half full we didn't get the requested room with view of the sea |

A nice, somewhat classy hotel. Beautifully decorated with the Opera theme. The breakfast had a little more variety than other hotels. Wish we could have had a view of the harbor. |

Had a lovely time. Loved the breakfast. The decor was splendid and the location brilliante. staff were friendly and helpfull The room and building where extremely overheated and there was no way of adjusting it in our room |

Very nice hotel, near the main train station. Breakfast lovely and good selection. Rooms a little on the warm side, even in winter so be warned that it may be a uncomfortable in summer. No double beds, all or twins which you can ask to be placed together. |

Jeg synes hele hotellet virket greit, resepsjon/mottakelse/utsjekking var veldig bra, rom/bad veldig bra, rent og godt vedlikeholdt. Beliggenhet bra, heis bra, spisesal bra. Det manglet lapp m/prisliste for minibaren. Selv den store spisesalen var for liten under frokosten. Sikkert fullt belegg ?! |
