Thon Hotel Slottsparken

The breakfast was very nice! There was so many things to choose from. Also the staff was very polite and the location was perfect. Price was not so bad either, at least to be in Norway.

The pillows were too thick and they had fitted carpets, at least some of the rooms. The corridors looked just like in ferry between Finland and Sweden. Building was old-fashioned east-German styled and huge so might need to walk a lot.

Large room with kitchen, bathroom, living and dining room. Great breakfast: great selections of breads, cheeses and cold cuts. Good location: near the Royal Palace and the Karl Johans Gate (main comercial street in Oslo)

The price was very reasonable and its location was very central, near the main street pubs and shops.

The accommodation was very dated and in my opinion not up to the advertised four star rating. The policy of not allowing friends visit guest rooms for a short period infuriated me and I have never experienced this in other hotels I have stayed in!

noisy during the weekend nights, although the room was a non smoking one (as requested), the corridor smells as a smoking area.

The location was perfect. Very central and close to everything.

The single room was very small. Breakfast was good but poor service. The staff would clear the table while you were still eating. Huge hotel so breakfast room is always packed. The night staff guy was rude and made me wait 10 minutes to help me with directions while he was chatting with his drunken female friend!

It is certainly not a 4 star hotel. The hotel looks more like old social housing than a 4 star hotel. The bathroom did not have a "real" shower meaning you were showering in the middle of the room and had to pull a curtain not to get everything wet.... However since you are showering in the middle of the room guess what ... everything does get wet.

Det at rommene har et eget minikjøkken er en svært god ide. Frokost er meget ordentlig.

Rommene kunne males / møbleres til å virke mer lune og komfertable. Dårlig vedlikehold av uteområde.

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Serviceinnstilt resepsjonist. Grei mat, og grei beliggenhet i forhold til sentrum.

We kregen een goeder (terechte) upgrade omdat onze kamer al vergeven was. Dat was een topkamer! Ook het ontbijt was zeer goed, fijn dat er een pc en prijnter aanwezig was in de hal. Alleen jammer van de geluidsoverlast van de discotheek onder het hotel.

Det er fint med så god plads på værelserne . Vi var i Oslo for at besøge vores søn som bor på et kollegie på Pilestrædet. Vi kunne opholde os på vores værelse om aftenen alle sammen .
