This family-run hotel is located in the ski resort of Geilo, 380 yards from the Vestlia slopes. It offers a traditional restaurant and rooms with views of the Ustedalen Fjord. Each room at Ustedalen Hotell Geilo features a work desk and satellite TV. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and underfloor heating. Location to ski slopes was very good as well as the views of the slopes. The price of the dinner buffet was quite expensive (even for Norway).

The hotel was very clean and friendly. We were collected at the train station which was great. We were able to leave our bags when we arrived before check in and left after check out. Overall, a great weekend and very good value for money. It is one of the hotels slightly further from the center of town. There is a ski bus to take you to the lift, but if you are walking into town for dinner etc, it is about 15 minutes.

Ustedalen is ok for families and skiers. The breakfast was excellent! However, it is a bit run down and there is not much to do at the hotel. The hotel seems overprices for the standard provided.

Tegen betaling kunt u gebruikmaken van een avondbuffet. Er is ruime keuze aan eten en drinken. Het is allemaal netjes geregeld Je mag tijdens het eten niet zelf kiezen waar je gaat zitten. Alle gasten krijgen een vaste tafel aangewezen. Ik reisde alleen en werd bij de deur geplaatst. De familie-tafels stonden ver van mij vandaan. Ik zat erg in de loop en niet in de gezelligheid.

Jeg likte beliggenhet og maten, Personalet var helt topp. var veldig misfornøyd med at det stinket røyk i gangen ved rommene og at dett siver inn på rommene. Dette bør man kunne unngå. Underholdningen på kvelden var elendig . Vet det er etamiliehotell, men kunne vært lagt opp til at etter sengetid for barn, så kan voksne kose seg litt eller???

Stort og trivelig værelse. Flere i personalet husket oss med navn(!). God og variert frokost. Pluss for vaffeljern ved frokostbuffeten. Deilig med badebasseng. Definitivt verdt pengene!!! Vanskelig å finne ledig parkering. Dyrt å smøre matpakke. Mye klor i badevannet.

Beliggenheten Jeg var meget skuffet over følgende: Maten var mildt sagt elendig dessverre, frokosten med en hvit eggerøre, tørr ost og uten frukt (noen eksempler) Buffet'en med et lite utvalg på både varm mat og vin. Jeg ble fortalt at man hadde "Lokale råvarer", de var isåfall godt gjemt. Dette var desverre samlebåndsmat. Kaffe på automat på dagtid, er greit nok, men ikke i baren til en avec.

Blev lidt skuffet over adgang til lift. Alt for iset vej,og for langt at gå med støvler. Buffe` Den var rigtig fin, men det ville også være rart med en mulighed for at kunne bestille enkelte retter.Kan blive lidt ensformigt i længden. Synes det er et meget fin og rart hotel med plads til børn,

Qualité des prestations conforme avec le prix.Le petit plus de l'hotel c'est la restauration qui se fait sous forme de buffet avec un choix impressionnant et d'un niveau de prix inégalable en NORVEGE.On comprend pourquoi cet hotel sert d'étape à une multitudes de bus touristiques.Un des meilleurs rapport qualité/prix hotel et restauration de notre parcours en norvege.

Le camere che danno sulla vallata hanno una vista bellissima. L'hotel è ben organizzato con discrete attrezzature. Se ti capitano le camere che danno verso il parcheggio interno è davvero triste!

Hotel was overboekt. Geen kamers vrij ondanks reservering. De receptie regelde een ander duurder hotel in Geilo voor dezelfde prijs als wat wij bij dit hotel zouden betaald hebben.Goede service.
