The hotel is easily accessible, well situated and neatly furnished. The stay was comfortable and the staff welcoming and caring.
clean room good bed okay breakfast
room of 10m2 shared bath two rooms with one entry and shared keycard high price for small room
Great location before or after hiking Preikestolen. Host and cook Tront prepared an incredible cod dinner. Outdoor patio overlooks harbor - wonderful in good weather. Free parking on site.
Room very tiny.
Very nice staff, close to the expedition to Preikestolen.
Big room and bathroom renewed. Dinner
Breakfast a little bit caotic. Room with trafic noise in the morning around 7h
Good well equipped room, very good staff and good breakfast.
The road noise was pretty bad; in warm weather we had to choose between noise and fresh air.
very nice staff, great breakfast in the morning.
considering the price (expensive even by norway standards) it was a small room with shared bath and no tv.
Friendly staff and very accommodating. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, eggs bacon (cooked to perfection) and fresh fruits, meats and cheeses, and more! Great location nearby gas, supermarket, and shopping.
The lack of a bathtub but that's not a deal breaker. And the wifi was very spotty.
WIFI Expensive Small room Elevator Bed
Friendly and informative chef
Quitness, OK standard for price. Breakfast
1st room not cleaned, have to change room in the middle of night. arrived 0230. Couldn check in due to booking system, confused moments. 2 room No soap in shower not changed on monday had to change it myself and carrie it down. No one took up my towel from floor on monday. Dont give the cleaning any hight values. Breakfast to late. If you like to catch errie earlier than 8 in the morning its impossible o eat full breakfast. should open 06.30.
excellent location and good dinner
rooms and bathroom quite small and price a bit over the limit
Very good position. Friendly staff at reception. Comfortable room.
The waiter who served us dinner was too hasty: he asked for the bill without even propose the dessert
very close to the Preikestolen
room was way too small. wifi constantly drop the signal.
location (good for excursions to preikestolen and stavanger) rooms (view at bay/sea/fjord)
medium breakfast selection/quality (sufficient, but not great) rooms need more cleaning (overall ok, but some areas are dusty, bathroom not properly maintained)
Excellent location near to pulpit rock if you intend on hiking up. The food in the restaurant was really good and the chef was very friendly and told us a lot about the history of the hotel and area. Good breakfast selection in the morning.
Breakfast was good, Another hotel nearby Preikestol, 10 mins by car to hiking trail
Broken hooks in bathroom Broken electric bulbs in room Unfriendly and untrained personal at reception
Helpful staff, close to Preikestolen
Okay, we had the last room available, but for the price we paid it was way too small.
Service oriented staff, Very clean, quiet, fresh air, kept kitchen open after announced opening hour. Food seems local and fresh! No hotel chain marketing BS, Just honest high quality service!
If really picky: better pillows!
location is very close to Preikestolen parking friendly staff
quite expensive for what you get, even at Norwegian standards very small and basic bath room small room very basic breakfast
I liked the location, only 9km from the start of the Preikestolen walk, and only around 15 min from the ferries. I expected the hotel to be in not such a nice area (since there were hardly any pictures of the outside), but I was wrond. The hotel is a little above the harbour and there is a nice green park between the hotel and the harbour. It is also located on the "main street" of the village (but this is a very quiet town, not much traffic and not much to do). The diner was very well cooked! The hotel has a communal kitchen which can be used. It has fridges in it, which came in very handy. Als there is a microwave. The room was bright and had a great view over the harbour. The bathroom was small, but good. It had a perfect (powerfull and warm) shower!
The room was very small. We had to rearrange some furniture to be able to give our suitcase a place. More then one suitcase is absolutely impossible! The pillows were not worth the name. It was a pillow case with thin flocked peaces. My sweater was a better pillow.
Dirty room, sharing a bathroom, noisy doors
Location, close to preikstollen . Family atmosphere.
Room is small,
Hotel has been renovated so the equipment is excellent. Very good food. Friendly people and warm welcome
We were 3 adults and were given a double room in which they put a temporary bed. The space was therefore too tight. This was a small "minus" in an otherwise excellent hotel.
Good parking. Easy to find. Good breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Modern, clean decor. Free wifi.
Room very small and NO WARDROBE! Bigger towels would have been better.
