Good location, friendly receptionist Caroline Beds were too soft and uncomfortable, dust on the bed stands, water pressure in the shower was poor and the temperature varied from cold to lookewarm

Excellent value for money. Rooms were good sized, very clean, well equipped with flat-screen tv and wifi. Modern bathrooms. Most surprising was the banquet breakfast. Location was superb with just a 15 minute walk to central Oslo shopping, government buildings, museums and conference areas. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable, no luxury but perfect for weekend break. Location is ver y good close to embassies. Breakfast is great. The only thing is that we booked and requested one king size bed and we got 2 single beds...the rest, very good 7.5/10

The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. We had to cancel the first night of our stay at late notice and they didn't charge us for it. The breakfast was fantastic! It has a really great location in the peaceful west end.

Location is good- close to city center, walk distance to the main city spots Price for accommodation is really cheap Staff is friendly Breakfast is tipical for europeean 3stars hotels Nice restaurant downstairs, but expensive one Smoking is not permitted If you need place just to sleep this hotel is the best price and comfort combination The building is small with very old elevator All the furniture in the room is old, but the room is large The bathroom is not well equipped (hairdryer doesn't work, the shower doesn't have the door)

The location--convenient to National Theater; 30 minutes via Express Train from airport. Comfortable (if small) room (duvet quite comfortable!). QUIET! Polite, intelligent, helpful staff. Beautiful and amazing breakfast selections in cozy dining room. Lovely location--perfect to get good rest, go running, have a coffee and go shopping. Plus, a 5-min walk to public transport.

The hotel is perfectly located on a calm street very close to city center. Breakfast food is good, beds are comfortable and they nicely put tea bags and kettle in each room. The way they take care of breakfast serving is awful. They take everything away at 10 sharp, one can't even finish eating properly. When I complained about this, they said it was standard. I have never seen such stadards anywhere! Floor in the bathroom was cold as hell. Besides, some weird insect was creeping on this freezing floor. Their free Internet does not work. And they can't give any info about the paid one: speed, quality of connection - nothing. They can't fix the free one either - saying just "yes, we do have problems".

It was very close to all attractions the breakfast was very good There is a bar at the front of the hotel so if u are on the front of hotel you get all the noise the room was very small for a family of 4 and the beds were very soft which didnt have much support if you have a bad back the bathroom is also small the guy on the reception on a night was not the friendlyest when I asked for milk for the room he said I had to go to the 7 11 as they woukd not have any till morning .

This was a basic, but clean hotel. Buffet breakfast was great in a kovely restaurant. If you need somewhere to stay in Oslo at reasonable rates then West Hotel is one to consider. It comes without the bells and whistles, but it is an honest little hotel that provides a bed and good breakfast. The staff are helpful and accommodating.

It is in a quiet area and the rooms are quiet which is very important to me. The breakfast is pretty good and served in a nice room and the staff are always very helpful. It is also situated close to a supermarket (ica) and quite a few restaurants. The rooms are a little bit shabby but for the price and location that is ok I think. They are clean!
