Fantastic location - in the hub of Thamel but rooms still quiet. Lovely homely feel to the place with a gorgeous garden area. Staff outstanding - so warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers visiting Kathmandu

Very friendly and helpful staff within a cosy family atmosphere...boutique style. Can also recommend their great food. Definately a good choice to book this hotel!

partly a bit noisy but that's due to the location. As we came in January, it was a bit cold for outside seating (only possibility) but with jackets on no problem at all!

Overall, very nice property if you stay in one of the bigger room on high floor to escape the noise of bars and traffic of crazy Thamel. I booked delux room, but was upgraded in the next category which was a good size room with king bed. Some standard and delux rooms looked a bit small. Breakfast was excellent.

There was some dust in the room, bt a big deal. Bed and towels were very clean.

Location, as it was in the heart of Thamel and the property itself was well maintained and clean. This is a little 3* property in the heard of the madness and really was home, so couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Very hard mattresses and the noise was a little annoying, that said we knew it was in the middle of the nightlife and went quiet around 12 midnight, so met our expectations.

The staff at Ambassador Garden Home were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home when we were ill. Our room was big with a big bathroom, a great shower and lots of hot water.

Our room was INCREDIBLY noisy! We were in room 305 and faced onto the main junction in Thamel, literally above a bar and pub. Loud dance music and a thumping band could be heard until at least 1am each night (beyond the supposed 11pm curfew) for each of the 4 nights we were here. We were really quite sick during our time here so just didn't have the energy to argue to change our room, we were sleeping most of the day (and anyway the noise from the street seemed to reach to the back of the hotel too if the noise from the small garden was anything to go by). EARPLUGS are a MUST here! Also: I was informed on booking.com that I had paid 50% at time of booking through them, I was then also emailed by AGH to get a 50% deposit and yet was asked to pay full price on departure (we were very sick this day so I did not argue but not happy with inconsistency regarding payment - will follow up when home)

Very good location, quality room in the otherwise poor Nepal, very friendly and helpful staff.

Not much to say. Perhaps could be more quiet, but hey this is located in the middle of busy Thamel!

Really lovely boutique styel hotel in the heart of thamel.very old building beautifully restored offering a very nice standard of accomadation in the middle of the "trekkers" centre.far superior than all the other "hotels" in thamel with lost of personal touches due to the long fa£ily histroy of the ambassador garden home.

Ambassador Garden Home, live up to our expectations. Everything was excellent. I would recommend the place to everyone wishes to enjoy and relax! The hotel has gorgeous settings and its very good maintained, adding the warm and friendly staffs, which were around for everything we needed, made such excellent stay! The location was amazing. Some hotels are completely far away from the tourist center. I'm a 4*-5* customer, but here, in Kathamandu, if you want to feel the city, you must come to this place. They'll do their best to make you feel at home.

网上预订了两间大床房，且房价是按豪华房支付的，结果抵达时只给我们分配两间非豪华的双床房，接待人员硬说- 是只有这个，还不让我们退房。在我们的坚持下，酒店几个管理人员反复商讨，终于展示出了他们实际上是有空余- 的豪华大床房的。虽然不是什么大事儿，但这让我们对尼泊尔人单纯善良的印象大打折扣。

Everything you need you have at Ambassador Garden Home. Clean and very confortable rooms, good food, safe place. Simplicity, very good location and very pleasant staff! Very nice place to stay and I really would like to be back here my next time in Kathmandu! Congratulations!

hotel charmant mais neanmoins difficile a trouver pour les conducteurs de taxi locaux. Chambres propres et surequipées. Acceuil chaleureux, personnel attetionné. Décoration des chambres faite avec gout. Séjour court mais tres agréable. Je us le recommande en fin de sejour apres avoir crapahuté dans le pays car l endroit est propice au repos et à la tranquilité.

房间不大，但干净、装修有特色、设施齐全，还有空调和电吹风，早餐也很不错，在加德满都来说已经算性价比比- 较高的酒店。

酒店帮忙订的Taxi，说好了半天的Round Trip（去Changgu Narayan Temple和Bodhnath Stupa）加晚上送机场是RS2500的（这个价格并不便宜，我们觉得方便也就接受了），没想到送到机场- 司机硬说是RS3500，又说自己的手机没有充值，打不了电话，用我的手机打国际长途给酒店核实，也说找不- 到酒店经理，最后还说我们坏，气死人了。以后的游客，住这个酒店的话，就自己上街打车吧，千万别让酒店给你- 叫车了。

タメルチョークからすぐなので、カトマンズ観光の拠点として非常に良いです。部屋は清潔で、停電もなかった- です。エアコン、ホットシャワー、冷蔵庫、すべて問題なく使用できました。スタッフも親切でした。変な勧誘- もなく、聞いたことにはちゃんと綺麗な英語で回答してくれました。

値段がちょっと高めかも知れないが、カトマンズでこの設備を求めたらこんなものかも知れない。

Statt schon bezahlte Super Deluxe Room, haben wir Deluxe Room erhalten. Personal hat uns versucht teuere Buskarten nach Besisahar zu verkaufen. Für diesen Preis ist Leistung echt schlecht. In Bergen kriegt man für 3€ pro Room deutlich mehr!
