We stayed in a family room with a balcony and a little garden in front of the room. The manager talked to us about activities and he organised the safari and the elephant bathing. The guide from the safari was great and took us out again at night to see the rhino! It was a magic moment for us seeing a rhino up close on the river bank. The staff at the hotel were great bring us food which was good and cheap. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The room was old and worn but nice in that it had a balcony where we sat at night burning candles. The manager showed us a brand new hotel we could have stayed in but we chose the hut type accommodation instead.
We were a group of 3 person and we have spent 3 days over there. It was gorgeous! Good food, clean rooms, free Wi-Fi, central position (but quite area) well connected and overall very kind and happy peoples always available to suggest and organize the activities for us in the natural park. Wish to get back there… Thanks Deepak and Nabin.
new and very nice room ,super cleen bath room and also hot water ,beautifull surroundings, frendly staff, very tasty food, and resenable price for programme, we like it we think "'probably the best resort in chitwan'"
Hotel owner Mr. Deepak was very co-operative and kind. He is really a nice cool person.
Clean resort location was good
1. No A/C inspite of paying more for an A/C room. 2. there was hardly any electricity and the heat and humidity made it worse. 3. Jungle Safari Jeep was a ramshackled lorry, but they charge you for a jeep..too bad.. 4. Staff were arrogant and badly bahaved.
thanks for excellent service provided by staff of chitwan forest resort. thanks Deepark for provide me good price of the program. The view of the room is very nice, and location is also not far away from national park. I will be there again if got a chance!!!
wifi not work very well
The owner of the property - Deepak, is an excellent host. The hospitality he extends to his guests is very personal. The rooms, while spartan, are comfortable. Food is good. I wish Deepak Well
very nice and friendly staffs and boss there, very beautiful hotel like a nice garden and our room was like a villa. We took a package programs there and had a very convenient and wonderful experience there.
Can not get very good devices charging and room lighting because the power supply is so short and unstable. Hot water shower in the evening sometimes is also a problem.
Chitwan Forest Resort is real Value for Money when in Chitwan region (Sauraha). The resort has a very friendly staff who attended to our small needs. We arrived in the early evening hours and Check-in/Check-out was a breeze with the staff first wanting us to go to the rooms rather than spend time on paperworks ! Tea and fries followed with a choice of enjoying them in the garden or in rooms (we chose Garden of course). The entire plan can be worked out as a 'package' where all major meals are included (you have got choice which is wide and good) and local sight seeing is included. Forest Safari can be arranged by Resort with their own guide. We opted for the morning safari and the guide took elaborate pains to make us spot crocodiles at Bees-Hazari Lake. Elephant-Bathing and river boating is also possible. The cottages give you privacy and peace. Good king-size bed with a spare bed for a kid/grow-up. Lots of free space for kids to run around. The hotel tries to grow its own produce of vegetables and as a result you get fresh food. The owner is an excellent person who is also a Rotarian there. He even joined us in our garden soiree by the fire (this was arranged by hotel staff free of charge just to make us more comfortable) with his twins and wife. They helped us with local news and views to immerse us in their local ways. Very friendly and helpful. Well reccommended !!
Nothing that we did not like...really ! Good value for money - what more can I ask for ?
Chitwan itself flooded with hordes of tourists. I'd choose Bardia next time.
Thank you for a lovely time in your resort! Everybody was extremely helpful organizing things for us. This was also the only place we could find on our trip where we could take part in making momo´s in the kitchen!!! The staff taught us in the secrets of making lovely momo dishes. I hope they will make this also officially one of their attractions for the quests interested in Nepalese kitchen!
Trees surrounding the areas.
Cleanliness of the room & space is too small.
