The owner of the property - Deepak, is an excellent host. The hospitality he extends to his guests is very personal. The rooms, while spartan, are comfortable. Food is good. I wish Deepak Well

very nice and friendly staffs and boss there, very beautiful hotel like a nice garden and our room was like a villa. We took a package programs there and had a very convenient and wonderful experience there.

Can not get very good devices charging and room lighting because the power supply is so short and unstable. Hot water shower in the evening sometimes is also a problem.

Chitwan Forest Resort is real Value for Money when in Chitwan region (Sauraha). The resort has a very friendly staff who attended to our small needs. We arrived in the early evening hours and Check-in/Check-out was a breeze with the staff first wanting us to go to the rooms rather than spend time on paperworks ! Tea and fries followed with a choice of enjoying them in the garden or in rooms (we chose Garden of course). The entire plan can be worked out as a 'package' where all major meals are included (you have got choice which is wide and good) and local sight seeing is included. Forest Safari can be arranged by Resort with their own guide. We opted for the morning safari and the guide took elaborate pains to make us spot crocodiles at Bees-Hazari Lake. Elephant-Bathing and river boating is also possible. The cottages give you privacy and peace. Good king-size bed with a spare bed for a kid/grow-up. Lots of free space for kids to run around. The hotel tries to grow its own produce of vegetables and as a result you get fresh food. The owner is an excellent person who is also a Rotarian there. He even joined us in our garden soiree by the fire (this was arranged by hotel staff free of charge just to make us more comfortable) with his twins and wife. They helped us with local news and views to immerse us in their local ways. Very friendly and helpful. Well reccommended !!

Nothing that we did not like...really ! Good value for money - what more can I ask for ?

Chitwan itself flooded with hordes of tourists. I'd choose Bardia next time.

Thank you for a lovely time in your resort! Everybody was extremely helpful organizing things for us. This was also the only place we could find on our trip where we could take part in making momo´s in the kitchen!!! The staff taught us in the secrets of making lovely momo dishes. I hope they will make this also officially one of their attractions for the quests interested in Nepalese kitchen!

    Trees surrounding the areas.

Cleanliness of the room & space is too small.

Eco friendly, serene atmosphere. Warm hospitality.

All for a hefty price? Could be comparatively cheaper!
