Nice welcome and spacious clean room and friendly managers.
The room was cold at night and morning so sleeping with clothes. The hotel has its own electricity generator (as there is regular timed power cut) but it uses only for the light... The heating or TV doesn't work even though they lie in Ur face that it works... Our bed side lights didn't work and we had to ask few times to fix it and each time they said it's fixed already what was another lie cos actually they finally fixed the day before we left. Also they offer ridiculously high prices for excursions eg. They offered short trip to see the mountains view point for $200 whilst we got same trip for $40 and you can find even cheaper. Breakfast poor and also freezing temperatures so jackets and scarfs advised. They also charge u if you want to pay by card but no information about that online.
Solitude and clean and close to a great outdoor restaurant with fire pit
Far from airport but they had a shuttle
Free wifi, 24/7 electricity, very warm room, clean, close to everything. The staff was excellent and always helpful.Free pick up and drop off to airport.
Very smelly restaurant, the food was so and so. The breakfast it was ok, but never changed, every day the same things. At some point I got so sick of it that I was only drinking a cup of tea.No elevator. But seriously they have to do something with that kind of restaurant down there...they have to open a window or something ....it was soooo smelly (something between curry and 10years fried oil), up on the 4rth floor. But for the money we pay it was great.
Good value for money, a quiet location in the thamel, wifi, breakfast
Staff didn't keep the promise of sending me to the bus station to Pokhara and I had to find my way alone before dawn, which I wasn't prepared for.
Very helpful staff especially in reception Boby and Bim
Value for money. Located in Thamel close to shopping district.
Poor wifi, staff were not very professional although helpful, bathroom facilities were terrible, food was extremely salty.
Staff was very friendly, clean room and breakfast was ok for the price.
The hotel was located at the end of an alley, like a huge maze. Even the cab drivers couldn't find it. Thamel was a really busy area with A LOT of street sellers/begars. If you don't like extremely narrow streets filled with people. I suggest a hotel further out of the downtown area. Where it's easier to walk around and enjoy the every day life in Kathmandu.
Friendly staff, decent breakfast, free upgrade for first night
The final bill was calculated incorrectly twice. The power kept going out and I couldn't charge my phone. However, the staff at the front desk offered to charge it at the plug points that were still working on generators. Also, the water was not clean, and kept going brown o not running at all. Wi-fi was disrupted.
Nice and cozy place with beautiful decor...very warm, helpful and friendly staff (always with a smile)...location is good....breakfast is nice....also arranged a free drop-off to the airport, which was good..
Apartment is so beautiful. Room and Staff is Excellent
Location was fine. The hotel was good but nothing stood out. Walking distance to shops.
Breakfast was filling yet nothing amazing. Hotel old. Only stairs. Breakfast only 7am so if you leaving on early bus not good. No hot water first night but after a stern talking to second night fine.
service is there 24 hours and hot water is always there
We really enjoyed our stay at Dream Nepal Hotel. The location was great, right in the heart of Thamel and within easy walking distance to the main drag and 15 minutes from the Durbar Square. Our flight into Kathmandu came in late at night, so we arranged a pick-up from the hotel, which was great. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and met all our needs.
The location, friendly staff, good choice for breakfast, easy to get around Thamel from the place where the hotel is located
poor wifi, alot of noise coming into the rooms all the time
Nice hotel, friendly stuff, good breakfast and aeroport pick up (need to book beforehand)
Cockroaches in the room!
Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. Very friendly and welcoming. Location of hotel was good, right in the middle of Thamel. Hot water was available all the time Wifi worked all the time but we were on first floor of hotel. Breakfast was decent.
Room was a little bit worn and musty
The staff was good especially the manager. The position was good because far from a noisy street.
We had not the suite that we had booked. We have an appartment that we do not like. The manager tried to solve the situation offering some additional service that conviced us t stay in the structure. The quality of the room was pretty good, but far from western country standard.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice food at the hotel restaurant. Reasonable pricing.
Need improvement with the bedding. No kettle to make hot drinks in the room.
Friendly staff, cosy, big room... Bed a bit hard, but that's common in Nepal. Great location, and very decent breakfast.
The room was close to the reception - only a flight of stairs away. One of the nights it was quite noisy due to people arriving late or walking around. The view was towards a construction site.
Good wifi, ok breakfast
Generator noise and diesel fumes at 6 am. Not a pleasant wake up. With this price I expect better.
The staff were all amazing and really helpfull! rooms were nice and clean and the food was really yum! I hope to visit again soon
Friendly helpful staff, nice room
Kitchen was barely equipped
Location is a not slam in the centre of Tamel, but for us that's good. Quiet at night, since it's a deadend backstreet. Easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and the great "garden of dreams". Good staff and clean rooms.
Room is oké sized but filled with too much furniture (in my opinion)
Staff is the greatest asset of this hotel. Also, its Nepalese cuisine is exquisite. Very pleasant long stay (12 nights).
Staffs are really nice and helpful.
Limited selections of breakfast. No hair dryer
