There is no heating in rooms also rooms are not carpeted
Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful haven outside city surrounded by trees.
Some rooms are affected by noise from kitchen extractor fans.
Everything are fine
We liked the accommodation and the staff were very helpful.
The spa needed an update.
Staff is helpful and friendly
Lots of issues with the plumbing, from very long waits for hot water over loss of water pressure, leaking shower heads and faucets with water spraying everywhere.
Room was so far from lobby
Staff and place wonderful
Relaxed and peaceful but very comfortable with great staff - a very friendly place to relax and recharge the batteries after trekking
The location set in a forest only 15 mins out of the city chaos! First class facilities including the golf course and the spa. Great selection and good quality food. HUGE bedroom. And most of all the friendly and attentive staff.
The TV was too small for the room!! Only a 42 inch. Probably needed an 80 inch to see it from the bed!!
Beautiful welcoming staff everywhere you went. We stayed there at the end of our busy holiday to Kathmandu and it was the perfect little retreat to end on away from the crazy streets (and horns!) of Kathmandu.
Extremely relaxing resort
Surrounding area Basic breakfast No free wifi in rooms
Everything is perfect.
a bit expensive...
The room, bathroom were spacious with good airconditioning. We had a beautiful view of the green. Nights were so silent with the sounds of only birds and rain. Staff was extremely kind and attentive in every occasion. The spa and the indoor pool were convenient and relaxing. The only thing is resort is far from the city but it is a plus actually, far from the noise and the traffic. There is a shuttle to and back from the city center daily. The golf course is the biggest in Nepal and in top ten list in Asia, the forest and the native animals (deers and monkeys) made this resort one of the unforgettable places I have ever seen so far. There are multiple restaurants in the resort which each of them has a different atmosphere and cuisine.
I do not have any complaints.
Beautiful location and setting Very polite/friendly/helpful staff Very nice rooms Attached golf course Hiking/biking/horse-riding trail
Only very minor things: - Needs additional wastebasket and tissues in the room (rather than just in the bathroom)
- rooms are spacious and clean -Staff are extremely nice, the best customer service we got in Nepal. Lasta at the reception is amazing, she made sure that all our needs are met and introduced us to the property. In the middle of the nature with deers and monkeys walking around. Many food outlets and a great variety, and staff at 8848 m bar are over the expectations. They even have a golf course.
relaxing atmosphere, wine presentation evening, food menus, attentive staff, Friday evening band, cleanliness, friendliness, fresh fruit every day in rooms
no male masseur, no bath gel in rooms, no diet 7- up
The view is ok
Every room can only use one device connect to the wifi. and then each extra device u need to pay 10 dollars per day. And the connection of wifi is not stable. For example，if u r a couple with two iphones and one ipad then u need to pay 20dollars everyday in order to use all of them. Moreover， as the hotel is close to the forest but if u want to take a visit in the forest，u need to pay for a guide as well，10 dollars for one hr per person. so if u r a family with 3 people take a visit for 3hrs u will need to pay almost 100 bucks. What a shame for the hotel charge my suit for 300 dollars per day and i still need pay a lot of other stuff which normally is free for a 5 star hotel in other country.
The grounds and the tranquility
WiFi ok, but pretty constrained to where you can use it
I have been to Gokarna after my Pokhara trip from Fulbari resort. I am a bit disappointed by overall quality of price performance ratio. This was the most expensive hotel i have stayed in Nepal but not the most pleasant. I am a serious IT professional and expected wifi free region at least in a 5 star category hotel. But in may second day stay i have found that my wifi is exhausted and a renewal fee required for 1000 rupees. I had only one night more to surfing and for few hours 1000 rupees was not worthy at all.
Moreover i have got a bitter experience during my taxi call from the front desk. I have waited more than 70 minutes for a taxi to get me to town center. A 5 star capable hotel should have good transport when it is outside city.
The place is very very nice and opulent. The people are very friendly and heplful and they make you feel very privelaged.
This is not a slant on the hotel itself just the culture, 20 mins down the road I saw hundred maybe two hundred locals waiting in turn for the water truck. Here the golf corse was lush and watered. It was wront the priorities in the country are wrong. Sorry the hotel was loveky but there are greater needs in the country than pampering me.
The receptionists were very helpful & arranged our bus to Chitwan for us including having a packed breakfast ready for us to take at 5 in the morning!
Rooms didn't have the best sound-proofing as there was an Indian/Nepalese wedding on the grounds which was lovely but just meant it was very noisy until 4-5am
Quiet and green location, professional, attentive and very kind staff, space everywhere, from the very large rooms to the compound grounds. The breakfast buffet was nice.
The food was adequate in the 3 restaurants but both the choice of international dishes and the taste could be improved to be at the level of the whole hotel.
Beautiful location, lady in charge of main restaurant and breakfast, dirty forgot her name was absolutely brilliant, fantastic service
Really disappointed as they have two tier airport pic up charges normal charge Rs1500 but through booking.com or direct rs5000 and although I had written quote of Rs1500 they argued because through booking.com it was USD50 Which really is very annoying. I have stayed in 5 star resorts in the works but never felt like this where it was just conning tactics otherwise great hotel. I would ask all travellers to get it in writing airport pick up is Rs1500, they charge that when you do Everest flights so font pay more! The management seriously need to look at this and also learn customer service, perhaps they need to go to Furbari casino resort in a Pokhara to learn Customer service
Atmosphere is great. The staff is very friendly!
