Nice grounds, friendly staff, food is cooked fresh and delicious breakfast (the best hotel breakfast in all our travels in Nepal) brought directly to room.

We were picked up from the airport by the hotel, however upon checking out we discovered that they charged us$25 for airport pickup!! This was never mentioned to us before we requested it, nor upon booking the pickup. We complained to the manager but he tried to tell us we would have paid the same if we got a taxi.. Yeah, right. This spoiled an otherwise great trip, even though we went during rainy season and couldn't do much in the national park.

Good location. Organised very good tours for us at fair prices. Nice seating areas and gardens. Reception staff are very helpful. Room was fairly comfortable and had nice table and chair setting out front.

The food is pretty poor, we ate here on first day and were very underwhelmed. The service in the restaurant was really bad too, slow and incompetent - one of the staff spilt beer all over our table then didn't come back to clean it up. One night we were kept up until 2am because of a party put on for a huge coach tour, which we were told was finishing at 11. Hotel was filled with coach tours of drunken youths every day which was a bit annoying. Wifi is useless, you can only access it in reception and even then it is very slow.

The staff was helpful and competent in organizing activities inside the park. The hotel is located in the center and very closed to restaurants and bars. The restaurant is also good.

The rooms are noisy late in the evening. Guests are allowed to have party in the courtyard and they are not respectful at all towards other guests.

    the ambience was good .

Booking was confirmed but rooms were not kept as I didn't confirm to Jungle lodge by mail when I had a correspondence with them directly .... this was a bit surprising for me ... which was eventually taken care off the staff .
