Like an Oasis in chaotic Kathmandu. It is more than any 5 star hotel can offer in terms of service. Great value. Excellent staff, food, spa and rooms. Great ethnic Tibetan decor. Very close to sublime Boudha Stupa.

This hotel is a perfect accomodation for those, who want to see Kathmandu. Very interesting design, nice breakfast and dinner and very friendly staff.

Absolutely nothing! Minor defects (such as some tidy doors and the like) can not deprive the hotel of the highest apparaisal. Can find better, but for significantly more money.

I loved the staff. They were so very helpful to me. They went out of their way to make me happy. I was treated as family and my stay there was perfect. The beds are really comfortable and the restaurant is great. The hotel felt safe and secure. The rooms are large and beautifully designed. But the staff was clearly what made my stay so much fun. They are really nice and will go out of their way to make your stay a great experience.

The hotel is very near the Stupa, very clean, nice Tibetan "cookies" provided at reception and inside room. Nice decor in room. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice fluffy clean towels provided with electric jug kettle and beverage, which we found we should not take for granted to always be available. The view from the rooftop terrace of the mountains backdrop was simply amazing.

Quite a distance away from the Thamel area, where the action really is a must for tourists. I also did not expect a hotel of this standard to charge 4% for the usage of credit card when settling the room tariffs.

Excellent service from the friendly staff. Very clean and well appointed rooms with free wifi, stocked minibar, satellite TV, clean bathroom, big safe and decent bed. Breakfast on the 6th floor terrace is fantastic, with great views of the surrounding mountains and the nearby Bouddha stupa (temple). Also a good location for a sun-downer later on while you watch planes take off and land at the airport just 10pm away - though you're never disturbed by them. The location is good for out of town excursions as it's near one edge of the city. It can take from 15 minutes to an hour to get to downtown touristy area Thamel, depending on traffic. The cab ride to town could be one of the craziest you've ever taken with the tiny old Suzuki bangers navigating huge pot holes on narrow dirt roads swarming with cars, motorbikes and people - oh and the odd chicken or cow.

Don't be fooled into thinking that being located in the suburbs of Kathmandu means the air is clean and you've avoided the chaos and dirt of the Nepali capital. It's as polluted in the neighborhood of the hotel as it is downtown - and it's pretty serious pollution. We all bought face masks within a day, doing as many of the locals do, to give our lungs some hope. Be prepared to get dirty in Kathmandu. Wearing covered shoes is a good idea. However, in the hotel the air is clean and there is air conditioning if you need it. It's a great haven away from the seeming mayhem.

The room ( 317 ) was smaller than what i expected and there was no wifi connection !

Everything. But the absence of a swimming pool has slightly, just slightly damaged the impression. Next trip to Kathmandu - Only Tibet Intl!!!!

A little remote from the centre

Excellent in all ways. Staff excellent, prompt, clean rooms. We booked two standard rooms but were upgraded to a superior and deluxe room after staff recognised we were travelling as a family.

The location is in a very busy area, with the inside and outside of the hotel having such a widely differing ambience.

The service of the staff is excellent. Very good facilities and competitive room rate. Located just nearby Boudha Nath (5 mins by walk) but generally it's in the fringe of the city (30 mins by taxi to city center or business/tourist areas). The internet speed (wifi) is average but I guess most hotels there have similar speed. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel.

All the people I met at the Hotel during my stay are so polite and very friendly and served me good services against all my requests and questions whatever I requested. Thank you. I will surely be book this Hotel on the next visit.

This is not a claim but no way to solve at present; for Electric Power supply ( short stops for elecrtic power supply = Nation's problem issue) I think I have,( I found it on the day at check out) is very important for "room security safe" is not anchored inside of coat closet. If someone who is not a good person want it, he has a chance to bring it out easily. (So, this box is not secured.) Besides the above, I will still book your Hotel at the next time!

The moment we stepped in the hotel we knew that it would be a great stay. The staff are very welcoming. Upon our arrival they greeted us 'Namaste" and gave us some cold towels and drinks to refresh ourselves. They also upgraded us to a better room with no additional cost. They said that they upgraded us upon learning that we are a couple and said that we might enjoy our stay better with the new room. Very accomodating, I have to say. The room is very clean and well designed. We loved the whole Tibetan design/feel in the room and public areas. The fresh flowers/plants in the room is a nice touch. We had a great rest for the night! The breakfast choices is great and the food well cooked. The breakfast is served in the roofdeck thus offering a perfect ambience while eating. Upon our check out, traditional scarves were given to us and laid on our shoulders by the hotel staff, to bring us joy and good luck which was a really nice and unexpected gesture. We felt special. Thanks to the the following hotel staff, Tenzin, Rinchen, Amid and everyone else (sorry can't remember all the names) for making our stay worthwhile. We wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely come back.

The property is its own brand ambassdor, tibetean culture outside and hospitality in side. A, place to stay, remember and enjoy the personal attention, un like any other place.

The unkept surroundings around the hotel, the people and the muncipal corporation needs to do a lot around this gracious property.

An excellent hotel with phenomenal staff

The Hotel is clean, new and in a charming Tibetan style. Keep in mind that it is located in the Bouddha area. This might be an advantage considering the pollution in downtown Kathmandu, but you have to be prepared for a 20-30 mins bumpy taxi ride to reach Thamel or Durbar Square. The location is good for out of town excursions and only 10 mins from the airport. The breakfast is ok.

L accueil certes un peu tardif n etait pas tres chaleureux et en depit de ce qui est mentionne il n y a pas de room service 24h/24... Nous sommes arrives a 22h30 le restau etait ferme ainsi que le room service et rien ne nous a ete propose...
