Got upgraded to a suite Warmth & hospitability of the staff Lovely weather
Not vfm. $250 + taxes per night is very expensive. The room can have basic amenities such as a mini bar, wall clock, weighing scale, etc.
Everything! Food, breakfast, service, staff, comfort, rooms.
The wifi and to log in every time.
Very clean and quite hotel. The garden with the pond is great for the children to play! Nice breakfast and food. Room service is very good. We requested a cot bed for the baby and immediately they brought one wooden!! Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
The tours for sightseeing are expensive but 100% safe especially if you travel with small children!
Location and service
Nothing to complain about.
I have been charged three tines fir wifi, that is ripp off.
Location, service and cleanliness
Nothing to complain about. The lift had a stronge spray of Citronella Essential oil which would bother some.
I really liked the way you are being treated, staff really respect guests and make every possible efforts to satisfy them. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean
Extremely bad Wifi with limitation to be used on only one device at a time, bathrooms and room furniture needs to be replaced, don't really understand a 5 star status, casino is closed
- Serve halal food ( the only in Katmandu). - good location ( hart of Katmandu). - very nice garden. - Arabic speaking management. - for sure I will come back again!
Location. Could find lots of shopping places around.
Everything about the hotel. Please dont go over the pictures posted online. Its a no star rated hotel. Rooms in the old wing are dark, spooky, and the fittings broken. Water in the taps are white colored. All fittings rusty. Room stinks. Got changed to new wing by paying extra. Small room. No wifi. Absolutely no hot water. No hair dryer since they are short of it. Almost missed the flight because of unconcerned concierge staff after waiting for one hour of the assigned time for the vehicle. Overall everyone is having a bad time there. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL. NOT WORTH.
Great location if you are staying in the heart of Katmandu for a few days - just a few minutes walk into Thamel. Food (room service) was good. Staff at breakfast were really helpful and friendly. Fitness facilities were OK (if a little dated). Wifi worked well (although had to get new coupon every day)
Very close to tamel but nice and peaceful.
It was nice experience staying in this hotel. I would definitely be recommending it to people I know and I am intending to book this hotel for any future travel to Nepal.
Quiet hotel in busy capital.
WiFi so so....
Great location for the centre of Kathmandu. Good facilities, restaurants offered varied and reasonable quality food. Staff very attentive and friendly. We stayed on the forth floor and was able to take advantage of the club room, paid extra but well worth it for free flowing early evening drinks and nibbles. The club room manager looked after us especially well! Have to say it was our little piece of Shang-ri-la in the madness that Kathmandu is! Still worth a visit if you are up to it, not for the faint hearted! Would recommend the hotel to our friends and family, and wish the new general manager Phillipe the best of luck with all the plans he has for the future of the charmingly named Yak and Yeti hotel.
Not much really, apart from the wifi problems with reception. Probably need some more boosters in various places! The hotel also needs to advertise the fact that they have a shuttle bus to and from the airport, as we hadn't got a clue when we first arrived and ended up paying over the top for a out of town taxi. The service runs every hour and is a much more desirable means of travel!
Servis in the bar end great food lunch time in the restaurant ' a la buffet'
problems with Wi-Fi
Excellent room. Clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Good facilities, there are tennis courts/ jogging trail/ swimming pool. Staff was very approachable
Wifi only allows connectivity for 2 devices. May be quite troublesome if you have multiple devices for connection. Ipad/ Iphone/ laptop.
The staff were very accommodating. Went out of their way to help me when I missed a connecting flight.
Rooms a bit dark, but that was part of the traditional wood interiors.
free wifi should be for all room types not just suites (5star standard)
Near Thamel just a 5-10 minutes walk.
Free wi-fi only for one person, 2nd you must pay for and it´s slow. Make sure you get a room in the new wing, the old rooms are in bad condition.
