Very close to all the activities on the Country rock festival weekend in Paihia. Just what we needed

Is an easy walk to the shops, restaurants and waterfront. It is clean, well equipped, lovely staff and the bed was great. Outdoor playground at the school next door available after school hours.

The property is a little tired but great for the cost.

Handy to all facilities, cafes, wharf, shops and beach

Could hear the people in the next unit having showers etc prior to 6am

Simple motel style, with all facilities for a shortish stay

The motel was in walking distance to the little town and to the docks. The main reason for being in Paihia was to scuba dive. The motel was an excellent location in walking distance to Paihia Dive. It was clean, the staff was wonderfully friendly, very very nice. Our first night in New Zealand and a nice introduction to the country.

Room was horrible, carpet worn and dirty, cramped no room to move or cook. Noisy next door until early hours.

Excellent location - not far from the main street. Easy walking distance to pier.

Just a bit tatty :( Simple things that needed mending and wouldn't cost much to do.

Great location, with a short walk to the wharf (for the amazing 'cream trip' tour of the islands) and the local cafes/restaurants/shops. Friendly 'host' and all the basics required.

Nowhere for safe deposit (a common 'omission' with NZ accommodation and surprising given that we have been warned not to leave possessions in the car either due to the high incidence of thefts). A strong sewage smell came from the under-sink crockery cupboard, which was a bit off-putting.

The only small thing that would improve the place is more character. I am not sure how this could be achieved, and it may not be possible. The place lacked any unique charm etc.

The shower pressure was terrible and it was impossible to get the hot and cold mix right.

Doors not locking properly. Toilet door locked from inside several times. Room No: 4. The pantry cupboards not working propery and they kept open loose when closed.

Studio tres spacieux, bien situé. Paihia est un excellent point de départ pour visiter quantité de lieux autour!

Viel Platz. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Inhaberin. Gute Heizung. Wlan kostenlos.

Schon etwas ältere Einrichtung. Wlan nicht in allen Zimmern.
