Had a great stay, comfortable room and pleasant surroundings. A big plus for me was having a car parking space available.
The beds were comfortable
There was no sound proofing and we could hear people in the hallway late at night, even someone going to the toilet in the next room. The room was very tired looking and in need of renovation. On Sunday evening when we would have liked to have a drink at the bar it was closed for a private function. This hotel is way over priced for what it is.
Hope to have free wifi
Room was clean. Staff helpful. Location was perfect! Close to everything!
The room we had was to cluttered with furniture. Should have only been a queen bed. The walls are very thin.
Good restaurant, will lovely meals, very reasonably priced. Excellent location to everything in central Wellington.
Bathroom not very clean, food quite nice.
Location. Easy to get to from end of urban motorway. Walking distance to harbor. Car Parking.
Very comfortable beds. Excellent location. Wonderful reception staff.
Need free wifi.
Reasonably priced, for a stopover where you are only there a few hours.Staff very pleasant. Really nice shower.
My room was full of moths so had trouble sleeping. Cleanliness really not up to standard, windows and surfaces needed a good clean.Would only use as a few hour stop over would't stay any longer.
$20.00 capped charge for taxi to airport. Another option needed for who I travelled with. I travelled with my mother. May I suggest you have an option for: 2 members of the same family or relatives
Taking my visa details when I arrived and finding out the hotel holds $150.00 against the account in the event of non payment of account. I am still waiting for the holding money to be credited to my visa account 3 days after checking out eveb though total cost of accomodation was paid 2 days before expected checkin date. I was told when card details were taken that an imprint is done but card only actioned if client vacates without paying. Hotel charges when booking is made and there is never a refund for cancellation therefore holding payment via visa should not be required. Very dishonest practise and I am still waiting for access to my own funds of $150.00 more than 3 days after my stay.
During my check-in, i have a hard time with the front desk staff (indian guy) that work on that evening. Had a little argument about my credit card because my credit card decline whenever he try to swipe it. The way he response to me make me pissed off. His attitude need to be change. One more thing, the room is not a sound proof.
The location was OK although traffic noise was concern.
The hotel was in need of quality cleaning and maintenance. Broken tiles in shower and mismatched paintwork gave a shoddy apperance. Curtains need a jolly good clean and service or total replacement.
the quality of food in the restaurnt was excellent. The girls on reception were excellent and very helpful,
The door had a very poor seal around it hence alot of noise from the corridor.
Very good service. Great friendly staff and so centrally located. We stayed 3 nights and would highly recommend Abel Tasman. Their restaurant/ bar is also a huge plus.
bed was good
noise from the street
Car park very cramped
The Office staff were always happy and welcoming
Good Clean Spa Bath Big , modern Room. Free Wifi Very Helpfull
Hard bed Single small parking space
Good location, easy to check in and out.
Room was set up for backpackers we paid for double bed got a room to sleep 5 or 6 people. Very cramped only one chair jammed in corner TV only had 8 channels mostly adverts, no lock on bedroom door, could hear people showering in next room at 5.30 in the morning. Very disappointed as cost was way above what was provided should have been charge of $60 per night max for what we were given
Location, cleanliness and room size
No complaints at all
great location within walking distance of all main city attractions and restaurants
Comfortable beds, spacious room &bathroom. Some noise from street which double glazing would solve. Only gripe that there was.not a fan in bathroom. No wonder the mirror is growing mould.
Central location, clean, neat rooms, pleasant staff.
Small room (and apparently we were upgraded to a superior!) No air con, hot and stuffy.
Convenient location in downtown Wellington. Hotel assistant the day we were leaving was most helpful about letting us leave our luggage at the front desk until we were ready to go to the airport for our afternoon flight. We really appreciated her!
Coffee pot in room didn't work although we FINALLY got it to work. Still, we didn't get enough coffee. Hotel clerk when we checked in was ok but NOT exceptionally welcoming and helpful.
