First time in separate bedroom unit and only cost $10 more per night.

Steam from shower into bedroom set alarm off! No coffee table in lounge. TV reception poor. We have stayed several times here but there has never been any recognition.

Just close too everything

Very comfortable room. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Close to city centre bars and eateries.

I enjoyed the lovely clean and comfortable room. Total loved the spa bath as so relaxing, just what I needed after a long motorbike ride from Auckland. Also enjoyed my walk along the Waterfront as well as Pukera Park as they were so close to the motel. Thank you Kevin and Ellen.

Only the traffic but it was to be expected being right on the main road.

Motel apartment was spacious and very clean.The owner was extremely helpful.

The hotel was easy to find, the hosts friendly and the rooms very tidy. Whilst there wasn't an onsite Gym the hotel had a membership to a local gym which guests were allowed to use. The hotel was also close to the main street where there were several nice restaurants to choose from.

Very comforable, not much road noise. Modern furnishing.

Arrangements for broadband connections. The management were without knowledge of their system and could not arrange a wi-fi connection. the fact that they were to charge for it is an additional reason not to re book.

Air conditioning wouldn't work in our room. Very noisy eith foot traffic throughout the evening/morning. Was woken up numerous times

Suited our requirement for being handy to places we visited.Close to food outlets and shops.We have stayed three times and the room we have stayed in was always very clean and tidy.

Only one small problem and I am not really complaining because there was no charge in the end. The problem was internet access that did not work and was very hard to login into........a simpler system would be good.

It was handy to the city shops and supermarket

We got the wrong room, however the owner gave us a discount when I went to pay. He told me they had only been there about a month, however the $20 discount he gave did not seem to equate to having a studio room for 2 nights when I had been led to believe that I was getting a one bedroom suite. After lugging our bags upstairs my husband did not feel inclined to take them elsewhere, and we were running late for our first appointment, so we stayed put. Also some items were not replenished in the food and beverage selection on our second day.

Sofas in the lounge could be more comfortable

Friendly, helpful service. Unit very clean and nice modern decor. Extremely central - very convenient.

The traffic noise was horrific. It would start by 5.30am and continue to 11pm sometimes later. The seagulls also seemed to compete with the traffic at these times. If your a heavy sleeper then great. If a light sleeper then good luck.
