Staff were easy going, room had decent sized and clean room. Good size kitchen. Air conditioning wasawesome.
Nothing! Just wish it had a pool!
We were in New Plymouth for a funeral the owners were very acomadating as we were able to stay in the motel until 10.30 and were able to leave our car parked there until after the funeral Thanks
Very clean we loved vicinity could walk everywhere (close to city eating out park loved our room other end away from road noise downstairs got morning sun and was told could use lazy chair if wanted
just across the road was Count Down and Pak and Save and walking distance was Cobb&Co good location.
I found the bed was to small and to hard.
Noisy due to traffic
Good location handy to New Plymouth city. Free wifi which worked well We would stay here again.
Pillows a bit thin
Pukekura park, supermarkets, main street, restaurants - these are only a walk away. The car only left for out of town trips. The AC was brilliant, although standard these days. Room was straightforward, cool wallpaper. Staff were helpful, especially when I left my ipad behind and the owner called me before I left town to inform me of my error and I picked it up just before heading home. Lovely stay.
Males - for some reason the toilet seat wouldn't stay up, so it was a two handed affair to complete the cider/beer evacuation. Also, Wifi was a ticket system that needed to be re-input each time and only had a 5 hour usage limit (in total, not each time). Probably could have got more but I used my phone's data instead, it was easier. The seabirds are louder than the cars going by!
-Very good location -No noises
-Very uncomfortable single beds
Stayed for two nights the room was clean and welcoming. All staff were helpful. Really all i needed for two nights and real value for money.
It was clean and reasonably appointed, very close to town and amenities. it was very reasonably priced.
On main road, noisy. Bed too soft for us. From the picture on the website I thought it had lawns, but it's actually a bit of a concrete jungle.
roomy, clean & tidy
proximity to main street meant a lot of traffic noise at night
The bed is comfortable and shower spacious. Everything look clean and tidy.
The spring of the couch is broken, which makes it hard and bumpy to sit on. Also, the TV is hung high up on the wall. It tires my neck watching it.
wifi only runs for 5 hours.
Nice and tidy/clean, easy to get to and the staff are nice.
The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the noise from the road. I understand that it is on the main road, but it was a bit hard to sleep with the noise (luckily I had brought some ear plugs just in case). If the noise was quieter I would have given this an "excellent" for location and comfort, because it's in such close proximity to everything you'd need.
Comfy bed, convenient to grocers
Lack of parking space
Nice place to rest people went out the way to assist as we travelling NZ by car some time you don't get in the destination on time so they assisted on after hour check in.
Proximity to CBD
Central location. Unit was a good size for two people. Car park outside our unit. Quiet for being on the main road.
Close to the CBD and very helpful staff.
Good location for walking to restaurants and supermarkets.
they did not charge for extra beds good heating
road noise and other guest noise walls very thin
Deacor, presentatioon, location in that it was central to supermarkets, town etc
Location - very noisey Bed - Very uncomfortable Pillows - budget
The closeness to the main street.
Would have preferred a ground floor unit
The room was lovely outfitted and very tidy and clean .
Extremely noisy the windows were supposedly double glazed but the traffic noises and gulls screaming were like being in the same room. The shower was hopeless plenty of hot water but because it was a set in the wall shower sprayed in your face not where it was needed.
