very friendly and comfortable made to feel welcome
quiet, courteous, helpful
Great greeting from Dellis, lovely fire in the hallway. Rooms nice and a good breakfast would stay again.
Warm welcome despite the late arrival. Friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble.
Warm greeting, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast. Dellis went out of her way to ensure our comfort when our ferry arrived in at 1.20am
Friendly, welcoming manager, Dellis offered v good advice on local services and where to eat.
Not much wrong. Building has plenty of character, but perhaps the place could do with a lick of paint and some fresh pictures.
the warm welcome and homely feel, I would recommend this lodge to other people who are visitors or simply for a weekend away. thanks
Staff and homely feeling
warm friendly place, enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and well priced
Small touches such as towel warmer, brass colored doorknobs are very nice. The nautical theme throughout is all done. The staff (Dellis in particular) is very friendly and helpful. The sunrise in the breakfast hall is lovely.
HostessDellis went out of her way to make us comfortable and welcome, very warm , spotless, lovely lounge and kitchen area to help ourselves to breakfast, we would recommend it to anyone visiting Picton Joan Australia.
Well within walking distance of waterfront & eating places.
The service from staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms we'll presented and the breakfast offered good choices.
This place is just the best. From the moment you walk through the door, you'll feel welcome and you'll feel at home. Loved it!
Dallas you rock, after 2 weeks of accommodation 5,000 ks around the South Island you were the best! Good old Southern Hospitality, lovely clean roomy room and even garage space for my bike, not to mention the late night sarnie!. Cheers Dallas, certainly be seeing you again.
Perfectly happy, will go there again.
Dallas was fantastic! So helpful and accommodating. The lodge provided all that was needed for our overnight stay.
Everything. Dallas (front of house staff) was acceptionally friendly and helpful.
