Alpin Motel & Conference Centre  

The Alpin was wonderful!!!! We stayed two nights and really felt at home there. Full services including hot tub and laundry and kitchen. It was very quiet and the bed very comfy. It literally had all the comforts of home! The staff was friendly and helpful as well.

The laundry locks up too early.

This motel was very quiet at night, so being a very light sleeper I appreciated this. The friendly manner of the person (not the owner) in reception when we left.

When I arrived the greeting was not very friendly. The owner continued looking at her computer, and took quite some time to acknowledge us. She made me feel I was a nuisance to her. The rooms are extremely dark. The tap in the bathroom had a buildup of dirt around the base of it, where it met the basin.

Private spa tub was nice although the courtyard was a bit tired and rundown looking.

The Sky sport reception was bad. Really hard to watch.

Very friendly staff. Helpful, and even gave us a discount voucher to use at the Whakawerawera village - very handy location for a trip there too!

excellent facilities in the rooms and plenty of space around the site. Very quiet at night.

Super place for meeting up with a large family group activity or celebration. Outdoor area for BBQ and pool was a good meeting place for our young and old gathering.

We were recommended Alpin by other mountain bikers - an easy 5 to 10 minute cycle to the bike park, a really relaxed atmosphere, places to clean and store your bike and an outdoor spa and swim afterwards - perfect! The rooms were clean, modern and spacious and little touches like the little carton of free milk, real coffee, and washing up liquid were gratefully noted. The staff were really helpful even letting us pop back to get changed after white water rafting even though we should officially have checked out in the morning., A very friendly family run business. We would certainly stay at Alpin again when biking in Rotorua and we will recommend Alpin to other mountain bikers we know heading to the redwoods.

No complaints we really enjoyed our stay.

This was my favorite hotel experience during my trip in New Zealand. It is such a cool place with great staff and lots of friendly motel stayers. Let me suprised that my room has a single kitchen and also is equipped with a full range of kitchen tools. My room has a separate living room, a separate bedroom, a separate spa area. Everything is so fancy. There is a heated swimming pool in the hotel, and our family are very fond of it. Overall, lovely experience,wonderful experience.

This motel is great.the room is big enough with bedroom and living room. During the night you can stay at the personal spa look at the star sky. They also have the swimming pool at the yard. Will come back again

Perfect location as a base to explore Rotorua city, very short stroll to all central city amenities. Couple of big supermarkets really close by and helpful staff to point you in the right direction of shops, restaurants and areas of general interest. The motel veiry clean and have private spa for ever room, that's cool.

The room was really nice and the hot bath outside was great

We have been several times, including when our kids were quite young (they are in their twenties now, and married). We enjoy the Alpin for the following reasons: 1. Quiet and has private spaces (especially the personal tub) 2. Heated pool that is protected by gardens (excludes noise from surrounding units) 3. Far enough from the city to be away from it, and close enough for short drive for entertainments. 4. Well appointed bathroom 5. Sun into private area and shared grass / tables area. 6. Affordable rate 7. Genuine staff and relaxed atmosphere.

All good. Slight hiccup with a changed booking, but it all worked out in the end.

Zwembad was heerlijk.

Meubels en design erg gedateerd, viel ons iets tegen. Buren erg goed te horen. Ze waren bij ons 1x vergeten de kamer schoon te maken.

Spacious unit with separate kitchen/lounge area. Excellent staff, clean rooms.

Noise from guests using outside areas at night, they made lots of noise late into the night.

It is very peaceful and quiet, clean and tidy. It also provides a free outdoor spa pool with scenery to the night sky.

We really enjoyed our stay. Having 2 tvs was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to everything but we loved how we where not on the main strip. Clean, tidy, and hot tub was very cool.

Only thing we didn't like was the bed was 2x single beds pushed together. Centre of the bed has a join which isn't very nice to lie on.
