Alta Apartments  

Meget pænt indrettet med dejlig balkon med udsigt ud over vand og bjerge. Egen garage og egne vaskefaciliteter et stort plus. Lejligheden er i 3 etager, så der er indbygget motion.

Der manglede et par lænestole. Der var kun én stor lav lædersofa. Internetforbindelsen var dyr og langsom. Vær opmærksom på, at de prepaid-cards, som manageren sælger, efter min erfaring ikke kan anvendes andre steder, selvom andet oplyses. Køb derfor kun til de dage, som opholdet varer.

Fairly good design and well maintained.

The site is rather tight to fit in the building block, leaving hardly any space to maneuver.

Used Alta Apartments for two night stop over on trip around South Island. The apartment itself was very well appointed and had the most wonderful view from the lounge window. However, the one down side is that the drive into the apartments is not good if your car has a low bottom, even though there is a warning! Also it is quite a little walk into town but the good points far outweighed those negative points.

Good location although further out of town than indicated, good design although parking a car is some what difficult. Super views but a hard walk into and out of the village!

Did not see any staff during our entire stay of 3nights so cannot comment on staff service as there was none.

Found having to put all dishes back in place a bit annoying as could not set dishwasher going on last morning because of this. No hairdryer in upstairs unit. No tissues in either unit. Bed in downstairs unit very uncomfortable Driveway in had to be negotiated very carefully as footpath uneven Some minor repairs needed handles coming of cupboards. Only one teatowel not enough when staying 3nights Only one handtowel rather than one each not enough for 3nights either.

Clean modern fitments and large studio

Internet access was poor throughout the whole complex, and you will not find this out untill after paying for the access Small tv with limited channels, this did not even work No coffee table or table of any sort in room, no place to put coffee cups or work on your computer No complaints procedure

This was a perfect place to stay. Before arrival was slightly nervous about the distance to town as per other reviews. However, is a great location 5 min walk to town n 8 min to walk home ( up hill like almost all other hotels). Very impressed with helen ( manager) very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be returning :) thank u sooo much for making our stay so great

Having to walk down stairs to go to the toilet

Excellent view from the apartment. Very new, quiet, clean and spacious and especially with family of 4.The manager Helen is friendly and helpful . We have a car so there is no problem with going to town centre. There is laundry facilities , dishwasher and garage for car.all helps.very grateful to Helen to call and let us know when our daughter left her watch behind in apartment.greatly recommended.

Was excellent.

Lacked a receptionist present but luckily the cleaners covered this area extremely well.

A nice view over rooftops to the lake and mountains.

There was no toilet paper in the apartment which meant that we had to go out and find a supermarket as soon as we arrived. As we arrived after 3pm we had instructions to call the manager, unfortunately we could not get through on the phone number. If I hadn't managed to catch the manager by chance on the Saturday I wouldn't have known what to do with the keys on check-out. The walk into town was further than I thought and we used the car.

Excellent apartment and facilities (self-catering). It was spotless and heating was on when I arrived. Arrangements for key collection were good and a very good booklet detailing how to manage the apartment. Good off road parking.Location was a short 5-10 min walk from the centre of Queenstown.I would recommend the apartments to a family or friends (4 adults).
