Amber Court Motel  

I liked the clean, comfortable and quiet accommodation.

They were very communicative and were prepared to go the extra mile. Motel was very handy to all take away eateries and a walk away from the main shopping center The motel was very comfortable and all the boxes were ticked as far as we were concerned for the price..

Not being used to the high volume of heavy traffic. The unit was placed right on the corner of both main freeways. I think if we had stayed longer we would have got used to the traffic.

10 mins from town centre, very handy to 3 major supermarkets in same street (we needed to stock up for week-long hiking trip), clean rooms with comfortable beds, big bathroom, good shower pressure, complimentary plunger coffee, fresh milk, laundry and drying facilities, wifi & guest computer internet, spa & pool, very helpful and friendly staff.

No fly screens on windows, lounges look a little tired

Location, warm and friendly staff on arrival. Local knowledge and easy to follow directions for travelling to local venues and attractions. Car parking and close to CBD, value for money, would stay again and recommend to others

My sister and I stayed for 5 days to look at gardens in the Rhododendren Festival. We are in our late 60s and cannot speak too highly of our stay here. The unit was a studio unit with full kitchen and en suite bathroom and with queen size and a single bed and an excellent range of channels on television.Absolutely the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at and we would recommend it to anyone Close to the city centre and the boardwalk, windwand and Puke Ariki We were able to walk everywhere, even to Pukerua Park.After a hard days exercise relaxing in the heated pool and spa was a delight.The owners were delightfully cheerful and always helpful.We cant wait to book another stay as soon as possible. The traffic noise during the day is noisy but seemed to drop off about 10pm. It didnt stop us sleeping however and I believe there are quieter units at the back. Handily situated on one way street ( Leach St) and on State Highway 3.

We appreciated the friendly staff and location of the motel in relation to the city

We felt cheated as we where located down the rear of the motel in the backyard of a car repair firm that started work with their machines im the morning. The ambience was very industrial and second rate. In a previous stay we had been located in the block further up at the same price and much more pleasant the Herbert Block is certainly 4 star location. We were in the end unit that seemed to be converted garage at the same price as othjer better looking units. We willnot staying here for the next Garden Festival.

The fact that our room was quiet spacious and we had no trouble parking. Was a real find.

Rather narrow driveway to rooms but when we found the other exits and entrances we were fine!!

Location, cleanliness

A little bit noisey early hours of the morning with the traffic flow

One of the nicest and clean motels we have ever stayed at.

Unfortunately we wouldn't come back because of the road noise and boy racer noise.

The staff are very friendly and only too happy to help. The units are very clean and tidy with nice furniture and fittings the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the pools and spa very relaxing and clean The laundry was easy access and clean The games room was enjoyed by all the family. Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Amber Courts and I would and have already recommended to others both family and friends.

To clarify the other above I stayed at Amber Court as my daughters Orienteering Team had booked there. The motel location and facilities are good and staff friendly.

The motel is always nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful, which is why i have always chosen to stay there. The pool is always clean and great when you have children with you. It is not a flash motel, but if you are after a nice unit which is close to town and all amenities then this is the place to stay. Thank you to the staff at Amber Court Motel we could not be happier.
