Just 5 minutes' drive from Tahunanui Beach and Nelson Airport, Amber Court Motor Lodge offers ground floor accommodation offering a 32-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Guests enjoy a hot tub, free airport transfers and up to 250 MB per day of free internet. Amber Court features a large communal courtyard and guests can enjoy an outdoor meal in the BBQ area. Other facilities include a guest laundry and free onsite parking. All accommodation feature a well-equipped kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Each includes a sofa, a wardrobe and ironing facilities. An outdoor table and chair setting is provided outside all accommodation. Amber Court Motel is a 15-minute walk from Nelson Golf Club. There were 4 of us and we were able to stay in the cottage that slept 6 people. There was plenty of room and privacy was able to be kept. The unit was very warm (important as we had an elderly family member staying with us). The unit was serviced daily and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The heat pump was a little noisy and the unit creaked when it turned on and off.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Spotlessly clean room with a very comfortable bed. Loved the extra large spa bath!! Will definitely stay again!

There was plenty of room to move about. Beds were a bit hard. The double bed dipped in the middle when 2 people slept in it.

The room was adequate and enough to be comfortable in - which is all one expects in a motel, One small quibble - no sink to wash the dishes in.

Everything. The room was clean and the hosts fantastic. The hosts at the time were not the owners. They were very friendly and accommodating.

Friendly, generous motel, with big rooms and a real free wifi - for all our devices (laptops, mobiles), unlike many motels and hotels in nz which limits the wifi both in number of devices and data.

The unit was quiet and we got a good night's sleep. The host was the friendliest we have encountered and made our stay enjoyable. Limited kitchen facilities but then, you get what you pay for.

Motellier owners freindly and helpful, close to everything. Bed was comfortable and it was a quite area to stay in. Unit was dated, kitchen had the very basics and the net curtain needed washing.

My daughter 17 year old daughter was stranded in Nelson for the night due to Wellington airport being closed. She had nothing but great things to say about the motor lodge and the staff. She said the room was very clean with great amenities and the staff were really helpful and welcoming.

I liked the cleanliness and the friendly owners. Being picked up from the airport. The use of the mountain bike nothing seemed too much bother. I would come again The only thing I didn't like was not having a door in the toilet area.
