“ Staff, daily service, bed was super comfy, staff went out of their way to confirm my booking after another hotel refused to take the booking I had made 6 months before, because it was only a 2 night stay on a busy weekend. Anchorage was happy to have us on that weekend which was appreciated. ”

Walking distance from drinking and eating veues. Good views allways stay here. Nothing really, alittle noisy from other guests shouting and partying minor issue

Very good rooms indeed at a reasonable cost. Clean, large and well-equipped - excellent SO NOISY WITH TRAFFIC FROM MAIN ROAD AT REAR!! This is not obvious from the site, which only shows the lovely frontage, but logging and other trucks rumble past all night to get to the port!

Great location, harbor views, sunny balcony-gallery, spacious rooms, very friendly service. Our bed (for two) was a little bit small, like a Double size And while it was not the hotel problem, we've got some unpleasant memories as there are a restaurant nearby and some people were very loud at the middle of the night...

Large rooms and everything we needed. Staff very obliging. Very clean. Noise from people leaving other local bars and restaurants late at night on 1 of the 3 nights. I guess to be expected when so close to bars and cafes

The Motel is well located near to the Napier downtown area. It has some very good restaurants within walking distance and the staff were helpful in setting up the internet connection. The room was large with plenty of space to eat and lay down our luggage. The motel backs onto a road and rail track to the port, and we were awoken every morning by heavy trucks and trains passing by. The room had a microwave but no hotplate, so couldn't boil an egg for breakfast.

The location, size of room, off street parking, view Very uncomfortable bed, Extreme noise both Friday and Saturday night ? on site otherwise very close to complex. Lots of continual yelling etc. Breakfasts cheaper in restaurants down the road.

The views from top level were great and the yachts in the early morning light amazing. The noise was disturbing from the neighboring restaurants and bars especially when people were leaving, and we heard them up until 3.30am.

Nice & clean The lack of sound proofing between the ground & second floor. We were woken by the 'elephants' upstairs & could even hear them in their toilet! Not nice. For that reason I wouldn't stay there again not on the top floor either as I would imagine downstairs listing to me while I had a pee!

Excellent communications - Rang me to check what time we would arrive and ensured we could get in even tho it was late. Friendly and helpful and provided bus timetables. Pillows were quite thin - would have been great to have a fat and thin pillow for options
