Staff were super friendly and helped with all my requests and seemed happy to do so in our room the plug hole hadnt been cleaned properly. Didnt affect us in any way but needs to be noted

The staff especially the one on duty Wednesday night was very helpful. He booked a taxi for us for 6 30 am to go to the airport the next morning and told us us the special rate they had negotiated for thhis trip which was excellent. Its location to the sky city for inter city bus connection was a bit further than it looked on the map but still a managable walking distance if not too much luggage, Excellent kebab and pizza restaurant /wine bar very close by. Rooms were very clean with basic furniture. Bathroom also very clean. Would definately stay there again and reccomend to others as a value for money place to stay for an overnight stop,

Great staff, accommodating, friendly and personal. We've spoken to 4 while we were there and they were all from South America, does give you a nice international feel. We stayed at the Hotel part, private rooms. The first night we had a twin room and then moved to a double room for the 2nd night. The rooms are modern, efficient, enough daylight and the ceiling is high. Location is very convenient. Easy to find free parking on street. Will recommend Jucy Hotel without hesitation. The first night we stayed in a twin room ( I believe it was 111), and it smelt so strong, we couldn't figure out what it was, the air smelt like a wet dog mixed with urine. The room itself was great. We moved to a double room the night after (not for the reason of the smell but because we wanted a double bed, not 2 singles) and it was as modern as the first one and had no smells.

The room was clean, the location is perfect The walls of the room are very thin, so you can hear your neighboors. The window can not be open, so the room can not be aired and it gives a feeling of claustrophobia,

The young man at reception was very helpfull and helped me with my luggage and made sure I had choise of good room. The bed was very comfortableand everywhere extremely clean. . the only problem was the situation of hotel on top of hill

I travel a lot in backer accom and Jucy was up there with the best of them worldwide. Off street parking for our rental car was also a bonus in a big city like Auckland. My two friends travelling with me had never stayed in back packer facilities and could not believe what they had been missing. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly as well.

Friendly helpful man at reception and a wonderful location Very noisy with what seemed like a party going on for most of the first night and the hotel has no soundproofing with doors closing loudly and noise travelling throughout the hotel from guests walking along the corridors. When I complained I was told "Wednesday is party night" The second night was quieter without outside noise but still had noise from within. No housekeeping service during our 2 day stay therefore no clean towels and unmade bed.

Nothing really ... Kitchen, far too small, not clean at all !!!!! not enough cutleries, saucepan etc etc etc .... bedroom not clean 15$ if check in before 2 pm internet too slow .... !

We went for the cold chisel concert . a very short walk from jucy. From arrival the staff were awesome. Friendly informative and fun! The hotel was an experience in itself. It made for a fun and quirky stay. Loved the fresh collie schemes and signage... With the jucy girl. I got so involved with the building / experience I bought a jucy girl t- shirt so am very jucy now :) was just easy relaxing and excellent. Bottle store just up road... Garden area and balcony back at jucy... Had the best pre concert warm up ever.. And our non staying guests were welcomed to join us! With the ( lots of) money we saved compared to other accommodation in the area we were able to have a very ritzy dinner! I sooooo recommend it... Perhaps not to the snobs of the world .. But definately the people who want an affordable but nice weekend away in Auckland. Especially for concerts... The atmosphere of jucy and the fun and good looking staff totaly added fun factor to our preconcert buildup Go get jucy!!! The shower pressure.. That's all

The counter staff were very nice .they did organize the maxi taxi back to the airport for us early the next day. The beds were nice and clean. The location was handy for us to walk to the city. The kitchen was diry when we arrived with the bins overflowing with rubbish, lack of cutlery and utensils. The rooms would have been nice to have a chair to sit on instead of just the beds. I found the room I had was very noisey next to the kitchen and the stairwell.
